If I can't complete the challenge in first try then it's a "hard challenge" for me in my book. So Hoyoverse didn't lie with including Hard in their statement.

So true, I see Envisaged Echoes available but I'm like I don't want to 90 any of these characters. I did Diluc's one and it was annoying enough (weapon choice, artifact equipping, talents, etc) that I'm like until they make more for different characters I'm good.

i don’t think people realize the point of these challenges is to test how much you understand the character and their mechanics

HONESTLY. Qiqi's genuinely requires you to understand HOW HER SKILL ROTATES to trigger elemental totems. These challenges arent extremely difficult, but they are exactly what they are supposed to be, something to show off your MASTERY of and DEDICATION to a character.
Honestly I'd wager a guess that Jeans is the easiest to complete, but I've only done Jean and Qiqi personally.
@@Vetus_Horologiumprobably, I’ve done Ningguang, Qiqi, Diluc and Jean but I haven’t done Kirara so idk..
diluc and qiqi were harder for a few different reasons but they definetely were do-able once you understand.
Then again, Diluc and Qiqi for me weren’t that hard because I did main them for some time.
I agree here that it is great practice and does somewhat challenge you, Jean is the easiest as far as I can tell (?)
@@Vetus_Horologium I mean I think its cause Jean has the least mechanics out of all of those characters, like her ult heals and her e knocks back cause shes anemo, there's not really any special mechanics for her like how ningguag has her wall(doesnt help than anemo is the least fun reaction since it just swirls)

To be fair alot of us dont have cons on them which makes the challenge even harder
To be more fair most people woth level 90 characters most likely have a gladiators sef and at least 2pc shimenawas or any other atk percent set

the diluc’s one was genuinely difficult for me bc of the time limit

For Dilucs’s part, I lead the enemies to the back left corner where I can use plunge attack and there’s also grass for burn damage.

I’ve failed jeans 5 times so far 💀
Same for Kirara. I didn't have enough elemental mastery on her, so I had to go with a complete Deepwood and EM build to clear her challenge
I just swapped diluc's arti to emblem set cz man those particles barely generates with one character
Kirara's was so easy. Triple EM Deepwood, just keep using kitty mode as much as possible to proc blooms. Even easier if you have C4 so you can proc blooms during CD.
@bubbag02 See I dont Have good Deepwood pieces. I ended winning it with Either Alhaithams ir Ayakas sword and emblem
I feel like the point of this isn't difficult endgame content, but just an extra bonus for characters you like, or an incentive to level them up more.
Yeah but I hope they add more used characters in the next one because I already have capped keys
as someone who choose Kirara and Diluc, I'm glad to see I got over the "hard ones" already. But, not many people build those characters, so it might be hard, or even F2P when you don't have as many resources for artefacts and levelling.
I think they looked at used rates and chose the ones on the lowest tier😭 I really hope they add someone I use in the next reset because I have capped keys lol
I chose them too! Kiraras been in my main team since she released, her box form is so nice for climbing and diluc was my first 5 star so he has a special place in my heart i just hope one day i get wolfs gravestone...
"High Difficulty" being mistaken as "Endgame"

i feel like the lore/theorycrafting ppl r doing all the reading and (almost) everyone else none of it
this is true, however i hope u understand most of my comments are satire. my dream of end game is something THAT IS "highly difficult" and "PERMANENT" so having hopes as a veteran players what i had, however this is just a challenge pressuring the player to focus on the mechanics of the character which is also good too

Nick’s blooming was the unique thing out of the video here.
The trick with the Jean trial is you need high ER build. So any Fav/Sac/etc. sword and ER sands and it will be a piece of cake.
My normal Jean build is R5 Amenoma + low ER, which is more than enough to burst every rotation. Unfortunately, "rotation" is not a thing in the trial, so that didn't work at all.
The Diluc one was really hard for me. I was always two hits too late. So my friend (Diluc main) did it for me. She made a mistake and still had 19 seconds left. I was so shooked xD
Tuonto should show it with that much time left if he calls it so easy xD
The qiqi one absolutely killed me😭I still haven’t been able to do it 💀

Healer build and or sacrificial sword is the answer.
Plus try to keep oz on field as well, while trying to keep qiqi and fischl alive. Superconduct & bubble from clam set is the main source of damage. The only time i failed is when one of them died.
also remember you can stun the ruin guard with fischl's CA to its core (doesn't have to be fully charged either), and swap lots to make sure no one dies off field

lmao I thought I was the only one who struggled with this mode. I got Ningguang's, and well, it certainly did not take me with only just one try....
Same took me three times but at the second I finally understood what the hell was going on😭🙏
Wym, Ningguang's was literally just a fight? If you levelled her to 90, there's no way you could have struggled with it...?
@@justapasserbyrandomperson9325 i kept having trouble with it too, because I get through most of the hilichurls fine, but the last mitachurl takes down the ley line thingy in like two strikes. The first time I did it i was standing too far away so it's really mostly placement and timing
@@justapasserbyrandomperson9325 yeah the last guy would spawn in and immediately 1-shot the thingy. I haven't been able to stunlock the guy as easily as Tuonto did

People have to realize the average genshin player has a toddler level of understanding of the actual mechanics of the game. They play the game for other reasons besides combat, or are just super casual. Now i would personally love to see a bunch more challenges like this, several times harder than this, but the amount of backlash it would receive would be insane.

And then I did Jean this month and is was a walk in the park like WTF hoyo.. The difference in difficulty is insane

I stacked Diluc with as much energy recharge as I could to spam bursts, the first part of his domain was a key to this challenge as you had to focus on burst

So I guess it’s just skill issue for me cause Qiqi’s took me 3 tries, the monument portion for Diluc took me almost 10 ults to get right, Diluc’s fighting portion took 3 tries with a build change on the 3rd, and Ningguang took 5 tries and I still couldn’t do it

I haven't done the others yet (lack of keys) but for both Diluc and Qiqi's I struggled more with the totem lighting than the combat part lol
For Qiqi I had clam set so the healing bubble damage helped with the combat, and for Diluc's I actually utilized his charged attack after burst and it helped more than I expected-
Wait he has a special charged attack after burst? Is that what they were saying got buffed in his stage? I used to main him and read over his talents and everything but I couldn't figure out what they were talking about 😭

The qiqi one was near impossible for me... I died countless of times or always missed the time limit, and even considered giving up but after 30 or so minutes I completed it
The ni hao in 1:10 was so on point I had a loss for words (jake is truly dawei's adoptive son)
i think the “high difficulty” comes from the characters HAVING to be lvl 90 (i don’t have any of the characters lvl 90 🙂↕️)
I found these to be a bit of a challenge, but appreciated that they test your understanding of the specific character mechanics

To be honest, I thought that these tests would be very difficult, but in the end (I passed the Jean and Qi Qi test) I passed it on the first try😅

Those who have built kirara as a dps have this one easy, ALSO in either next patch or future ones KEQING AND ZHONGLI are getting trails and I main Keqing, level 90, friendship 10, so I got this in the BAG
It is difficult. The hardest part is to get them to friendship level 10.

diluc's one is so hard, I still didn't manage to complete it

And had to look up how to change her build because the game wanted a very specific set of actions to be made
Diluc's was so hard for me (c2 serpent spine) that I had to give him most of Hu Tao's build and level all his talents :ugh:

i think i tried kirara's challenge 30 times until i passed it
i was so excited to do dilucs! i was able to complete it second try! he was my first main and I have him triple crowned! i main scaramouche now but I still switch to diluc when I need a pyro team💗
As a Qiqi main, it was so hard. XD the totem timing was rough but I got it after two trys, then I had to rebuild my qiqi off a phys dps build so I could defeat that ruin guard.
I mean only took me like a handful of attempts but with everything definitely hard.
People who say it’s too easy because game knowledge are forgetting that are knowledge is the challenge. Like the whole “correct build” thing is the point that is the challenge knowing what to do.

You can make Qiqis Challenge more interesting by not using the sac sword on her. It is possible but a lot harder
Diluc's was arguably the most difficult because it relied the least on character-specific skill mechanics. It was more a matter of figuring out how to group enemies together and best way to take down their shields to reduce wasted time. While Diluc's skills helped a bit in that regard, they don't have nearly as big an impact as other characters.
It is high difficulty for me to be honest. With the Diluc one I made it to the Abyss Mages, but the time limit kept screwing me over. If I get any constellations for him I might give it another try. I also gave up on the Qiqi one for now.
i'd like to see you try these with c0 characters with 30% crit rate and 60% crit dmg with 4 star weapons
i haven't finishedf the diluc one :DDD the time limit is so off, i need at least 10-20 more seconds

for Diluc and Jean put more ER and everything is easy... passed it at the first try with unlimited burst
Getting Jean's echo was so challenging but very cheap worth it for me ^^^
My biggest problem was not running more EM on my Kirara lol
Once I got 200+ more EM i did it first try
My issue is that we're given characters that THRIVE in teams and then they make the players solo with them. I had to purposefully change my Diluc's build from a good one to one that I have no intention of ever using again. I'm trying to get Kirara's and facing the same problem. Both my Diluc and Kirara are pretty good, but they're built to be in teams with other elements because that's how 99% of the gameplay in Genshin is

Funny enough it took me longer to clear Diluc's totem puzzle than it took me to do the combat section
I did Jean but the only way is to have 100% burst uptime, you can't heal fast enough from basic attack no matter what the build is. Diluc is just about aiming your burst so the all enemies got cooked. If you played abyss again those 2 pyro lector, it's the same as aiming NV's pee to hit both in line to save time. You can't unga bunga even with 80/200 ratio if you kill the hilichurls one by one lol, it will take too much time

My jean is benched and never used in abyss and I managed to clear her stage in one try.
For ningguang, cleared her stage in 2 tries. Needed to reconfigure my weapon and artifacts
I really struggled with Jeans T-T but Tbf I didn’t have her built AT ALL
I wanna do this but I don’t have enough built characters to get high enough in the theatre 😭😭
