Those were the best days of my life, I had a pair of Cerwin Vega 15" and a pair of Cerwin Vega 12" in my truck with Sony mids/highs Hifonics amps and a Sony CD player. In those days Hifonics was built like a tank I miss those days so much. Thanks for this video.
My cousin had a convertible s10 w/ 8 mtx terminator 15’s on 4 921 kenwood amps hydraulic bed on hammers clarion pullout radio and a bunch of mids and highs
Wow I forgot how nice Austin use to be. I believe this was before custom sounds took over the audio scene there. Thank you for uploading this blast from the past. Completely forgot about the drive in and pizza hut there.
Wow, that was early in the golden age of car audio. RF was still using the vampire logo, classes went by power output at 4 ohms (0-50, 51-100, etc), spawning all the "cheater" amps. Plenty of peeps ran multiple subs and even entire systems on one small amp. My first system was 2 PYLE 10"s powered by a 100 watt UNIC amp in a 1967 VW Beetle.
Awesome vid and great times. I was part of the Dyer crowd in Abilene. Four 15s in a blue and silver 72 Mustang Fastback. My ride was called Hertz So Good.
