Being a young wife of a sailor, I thought it was funny. I told my husband. Who on earth would go out in public dressed like that. We had pride In our appearance back then. I showered everyday for the six months that I was homeless at my Mom's, YMCA, the shelter I was staying at, or even a shower stall at a church building for us. Even going as far as going into a restroom bat least to wash my face or private s and have cleansers to clean up afterwards. Some examples...No curlers, housecoats,slippers, Pj's, short shorts, Tank Tops, shirts that show the belly. There were a few more, can't remember all of them. Being a young wife of a sailor, I thought it was funny. I told my husband. Who on earth would go out in public dressed like that. We had pride In our appearance back then. I still dress nice leaving the house because I care what I look like
