Hey man I just wanted to say thank you for the build idea. I changed it up and used full Thorns armor but with Sages Big Hat, and I always keep the dual katanas and washing pole equipped. I'm very very happy with it and it's so much fun to play. Keeping both weapons equipped at all times makes for easy adjustments to range as needed, and I've won a lot of duels so far.
Cowboy, I made a DIRTY build off of this: Sacred Blood Drifter (SL 120) Vig: 29 (34 with Chain) Att: 6 End: 29 (34 with Chain) Vit: 11 (16 with Chain) Str: 40 Dex: 40 Int: 8 Fth: 16 (For Oath of Sunlight with Off-Hand Sunlight Straight Sword) Lck: 30 (40 with Hollow Weapon + Hollow Buckler) The Off-Handed Sun Str Swrd casts that nice ~10% buff allowing consistent, high weapon damage with the Onikiri and Ub. as well as some more absorption. Ring: Favor+2, Life+3, Chloranthy+2, Prisoner's Chain It's almost unfair, to be honest.

The amount of people bitching about the build or bleed damaged in general amazes me. Git Gud. I swear souls players always have something to complain about.
When a single combo with a dex weapon does 3/4 of a 40 VGR build with average armor that is not balanced, Warden win blades meta. (really any multi hit wep. with natural bleed)
Zac Kral you also forgot to mention there are greatswords that can easily 2 shot you in the game as well even with 40 vigor. Regardless there are many unbalanced weapons in ds3 but it's easy to counter them. I can parry people easily when they try to do the spin attack with the warden or gotthard twin blades.
Zac Kral ohh your talking about while embered!? Never mind then because it will take at most 3 or 4 hits to kill someone with a fully upgraded greatsword. If you enemy has poor connection then I can't argue with that because there is really nothing you can do about it. The parry timing will be off.
Astora Great Sword with leo ring, hit that 1200+ damage on an R2, that's what greatsword I thought you we're talking about btw (nevermind the rolling and sprinting R1s on that UGS that get the leo ring bonus and can hit 800 dmg counters...

I am so used to the original definition of the word "decimate", that it is hard to hear people use it in its modern form, which has boiled down to synonymous with the aforementioned list. Alas, I digress - awesome video!
My build is actually a quality luck SL 120 build just like this, except instead of using the knight and hunger ring I made Dex and str 40 on their own and then use the prisoners chain to make up for the Vigor, Vit and Endurance, and the Ring of steel protection to make up for the absorption loss from the prisoners chain.
+David L. I was thinking about doing that, is it really worth it to give away that 10% flat protection? because yes the steel protection ring gives physical damage absortion, but what about elemental and magic?
I haven't been having any problems really. As long as you have a decent amount of vigor you should be fine. If you don't want to use the prisoner's chain you can just use the ring of favor +1 or +2 which does the same thing.
Wow, this is really, really good. I'm terrible at PvP and it was taking me forever to grind out the Mound-Maker covenant item but I respec'd my warrior in NG+ to this exact build and I earned the rest of my Shackles in no time. Thanks!

This early, there's not a lot of certainty about luck, but - all power to the bleeding edge of experiment! On a wider note, I love what you do man. Keep it up
also worth noting that bleed builds up through blocks, so even if that doesn't help often, it sometimes brings heavy blockers to block less and go offensive
+FiGhTiNCoWBoY have you tried the Carthus curved sword? i had it and decided to follow your lead and go for the dual katanas. Both at +10 hollowed the carthus sword had higher damage potential , faster swings and less stamina consumption!
My luck build had just a bit of faith and attunement and now I am thinking a quality build like you did sort of merging my quality build with my luck build is a good idea.
+degurkin cant really expect anything better. bleed builds only work at lower soul levels where you can invade noobs who have stat points placed all over with mismatched gear and incomplete builds and dont know how to attacks while you have a minmaxed cheeser build with more souls in consumable items available than they have invested into a single weapon. i mean somebody like that cant go dying to those scrubs with their minmaxed glory or they might realize how shit they really are right? lmao

+Emmanuel Malek Just to set the record straight regarding the use of Hollowing as a means to get more out your Luck stat, you're going to want a weapon that scales with two other stats (such as Str/Dex) that you infuse with Hollowing. All current testing seems to show that Hollowing works best for split-scaling weapons. Weapons that only scale with a single stat will have lower AR when Hollowed.

Bro this build is BRUTAL, ive been using it lately in pvp, switching from my dex/faith hybrid, and im loving this shit. I havent even lost once since I switched, out of roughly 14 duels. Nooot bad. kudos for cowboy on this one.
Anyone thinks that DS3 bosses are mostly broken. DS2 bosses are still the best and awesome. Nobody will ever forget the fume knights, velstadt, throne watcher and defender, lost sinner, and the mother of awesomeness Sir Alonne.
+Just A Random Guy For me, its way more difficult. DS3 bosses are so fragile. I used large club +9 for DS2 all the time and I still need to deliver many hits to kill the bosses. In DS3, I just used broadsword from the first to last boss with lesser amount of hits. I simply don't find the satisfaction I got from DS2. Sometimes it took me days to kill a boss in DS2.
Are you running Pharis instead of Dragonrider because you'd go above 70% equip load or is it just a preference? The Dragonrider should give you a fair bit more damage since you're at 40/40.
I know you made this ages ago, but is there a link to the base stats (minus item buffs) for this build? P.S. Keep the content up, been enjoying you since dark souls 2.

That armour looks completely beast though I wish these games had a suit of "Claymore" armour, as in the anime. Part because you could, in theory make a version for both man and woman and part because it looks cool as shit in my opinion.
Anris straight sword with Carthus Rouge (and even without for most PVE) also works, if you want something other than Katana, since it scales with Luck too (thats hidden in the item description) and gets insane base damage

Cowboy, what do you think about using Prisoner's Chain? It´s basically 15 free levels in ring. You could use it instead of the Knight´s/Hunter´s Ring and gain 5 more Vigor, and could even equip another weapon since you didn´t invest in vitality. Great build nevertheless, keep up the good work.

I started Depraved and still felt nice throughout the whole game, pure dex or strenght never felt as satisfying as getting a blood burst on a boss
