Hi guys, for those of you wondering. My Laptop has worked wonders for me! I have no problem with it!! It’s truly amazing! I have edited a bunch there 😊
@@Василиса-ц7я I haven’t had any glitches so far. It really depends on how many things you’re planning to use at the same time. I don’t keep too many applications open so I have no problem!
@@allison.garcia thank you very much. your experience is important to me. I am not a developer or a programmer. my macbook will be delivered on Saturday, I'm really looking forward to it. good luck to you
Mines coming in 4 days, as I live in Pakistan my grandparents are bringing it from the U.S, really excited for you. I also have not owned a macbook before (windows user), really to excited to use it, so happy for you!! Enjoy:)
there are two USB C ports on the left that are used for charging up to 96W and data transfers via a pendrive or a hard drive. they can also be used to connect docks or adapters for peripherals such as USB A drives that you were trying to fit inside the HDMI port. it can also be used to connect to ethernet via a USB C to ethernet dongle. it can be used to connect to external displays, but the model you have supports up to one external display. it is not the M3 Pro or M3 Max chip it is the baseline M3 chip that is plenty fast for over 80% of Mac users. especially if previous videos were edited on an iPhone. this machine has the incredible hardware of the MacBook Pro lineup while undercutting them in price because the chip is the baseline variant. the screen, mic, and the speakers are the best you can get on a laptop, period. the MagSafe 3 port supports up to 96W for charging, just like the USB C ports, but the base model comes with a 65W powerbrick which is plenty fast already. my M1 Pro MacBook Pro has the same chassis and it charges to 80 percent in around 40 minutes. i have never felt the need for the 96W powerbrick. the headphone jack on the right is a high impedance port meaning it can channel higher volumes to headphones. if you have a pair of high impedance headphones you will in theory not require a dedicated DAC. but that's debatable. on the left you get an HDMI 2.1 port and an SDXC slot for SD cards. though i don't know if they did cost savings on the base model and made the HDMI port 2.0 instead of 2.1 all in all, this is an incredible machine and i really do think that it will serve you well for at least the next five years unless your video editing needs grow to a point where a baseline M3 chip is no longer good enough (that is almost certainly not going to happen because even the base M1 chip is still great for most creators) i would suggest downloading AlDente for battery life monitoring and setting a hard cap for max battery capacity of 80%. this sounds counter intuitive but you will thank me in the long run. i used my machine for almost a year charging it to 100% every time and my battery health is 84% now. if you use Al Dente to keep it capped at 80% the battery health will last much much longer. i suggest checking out ThisIsE's introduction to mac series on youtube for cool and useful features and apps that will help you get used to MacOS and take care of your machine in the long run. just make sure never to spill anything on the laptop because i have done that and it cost me $700 to get it fixed 💀 i hope you love your new machine and a lot of success in whatever endeavors you aim for in your journey ✨
Almost all correct and useful. Didn’t knew about All Dente (although something is ringing deep in the back of my brain 😅). The only thing is that with the M3 models the base Power Brick is 70W know. I ordered the M3 Pro (strongest one possible, so 4TB of Storage, 36GB of Ram and the higher clocked version of the processor) and it will come with the 96W charger. I don’t really like this because I feel like fast charging destroys batteries even more. I couldn’t change it tho… So excited for mine to arrive.

Umm, i think its a wiser decision to get the 16GB RAM model instead, since the 8GB model is almost 2-3x slower in some tasks, try browsing "8gb vs 16gb macbook pro" on youtube 😅
@@martinszulc8192 Technically, I can do that and that would be a great idea! ☺️ I just personally don’t have storage on my phone to record long videos!
I think 16 ram minimum is better then 8 ram u can multitask but 8 ram for editing might struggle but with 16 ram it would be better if u needed to save u could of get a used one m2 or m1 cause m3 is the same as all of there but just bit more upgrades like u could get a m2 for like the same price but u could have more ram or maybe could be M1 Pro I see a lot with the same price on Amazon Best Buy maybe even apple renewed
Anyone which to get the MacBook Pro 14’ 16GM Memory Ram, 512GB Hard Drive version, PC Connection/ MacBook Connection now offer $300 discount. It is only $1499.
I feel bad for you just purely because Apple has ripped you off and you aren't aware of it, and someone like you doesn't really deserve that. The base M3 MacBook Pro is intentionally there to mislead people into thinking they're getting a 'Pro' machine when it's nothing of the sort and rather a heavier MacBook Air. I get how Apple can make it seem great though that's what they do, make you think it's good when it's not. Similar to how iPhone 14/Plus and 15/Plus are labelled as 14 and 15 but one is a knock-off, worse 13 Pro/Max and the other a worse, knock-off 14 Pro/Max. If you can, you'd be better off returning it and getting the M3 Pro MacBook Pro for less from other retailers or better yet an M2 Pro MacBook Pro for less money and your experience would be a lot better. Buying direct from Apple when other retailers have the same thing you want for less is always bad. On top of that, it'd last you way longer just longevity wise so like while people are struggling with their base spec M3 MacBook Pro in a few years time, you're there just fine because you didn't fall for the marketing and actually got a good laptop that'll last for years. I hate to comment this as you seem nice and excited so I really hate to be that guy but I wouldn't want to see you getting publicly ripped off as it wouldn't sit right with me. Apple will tell you that 8GB is enough when it isn't and hasn't been for a good while at this point, for a 'Pro' machine it should've been 16GB. Also, as you are editing video, 1TB would've been perfect for you. On an iPhone, 8GB is fine. Same for an iPad. On a Mac though? No chance because it's an actual computer. I get that you may not have known better and it's okay, it's the fact Apple took advantage of that and sold you an overpriced laptop that's a scam, that just isn't okay and you shouldn't have been through that.
I appreciate you all being so nice and honest! I hope people read the comments before thinking of buying one. I wish there were more videos with comments like these before I purchased it but now I know so much because of you guys so thank you!!
@@allison.garcia yep, 16 gb must be standard on laptops which costs more than 600 usd, 8gb memory only cost 20 usd now a days. but apple charges 200 dollars for 8 gigs of ram. apple can easily give 16 gb ram in 1700 dollars , but choses not to, and doesn't even let people upgrade because the ram is "UNIFIED" with the m3 chip. so the people think their computer is no more powerful just in 3 years and buy a new mac for another 1700 dollars with 12 gb ram (not even 16) and for editing and multitasking it's night and day difference in performance. and 8 gb ram degrades your ssd lifespan. if you have bought Macbook pro with m2 pro chip, it would cost 1600 dollars and came with 16 gb ram 512 gb storage, and more performace, if you can find this m2 pro model for 1600 on any third party sites like newegg and your current product's return window is open you can return this one and get a M2 pro version with more ram. if you are gonna do editing i highly recommend 16 gb atleast. if the return window is closed don't worry. laptop is fine if you only do 1080p video edit. but if you can try to get 16 gigs. have a nice day
