When ad breaks were entertaining and creative. Its mad how I can remember all these. Was a 12 yr old at the time. I tend to mute ads now as they are annoying!
when adverts were short an straight to the point
I'm not even British, but I'm watching this anyway.
I was born in 1987 and i thought I;'d be too young to remember these at the time... but I remember them all. My mum told me that I used to ask her to record the adverts when I was 4 or 5 years old.
OH MY GOD ! I too recorded Short Circuit 2 off ITV back in Easter 1992 ! I had this very set of adverts on blank tape myself ! What are the odds of that !?
Actually quite high..
@@Skibbitypappappa eh ???
Bloody good definition for a 1992 VHS recording off TV !
We didn't mind abit of flicker bak then, just appy to get a gud reception on mosta th channels, cudnt afford an outside antenna either then or now.but agree gud picture n sound for th time.
Sooo many memories especially the KP Skips, The Kit Kat and the Esso Tiger! (Incidentally my local Esso closed down in the 2000s to make way for housing)
My childhood right up in here!
I like that some of these adverts are short and straight to the point lol
The Ryvita ad is divine; cute classy girl in idyllic beautiful setting ! (nuff said)
omygoodness, the Aero advert hahaha Memories
you probably recognise the actor who plays the father
0:01 Short Circuit 2 made me cry as a child.
5:56 Classic Heineken advert.
11:19 King Solomon's Mines is a great movie. Bought it on DVD in 2015.
That Andy Capp advert 👌🏻👌🏻
That Heineken ad is class, brings back so many memories. I still prefer the Heineken with the Italian boxer probably a couple of years after this.
This was my 20th birthday
I’ve been searching for the dry blackthorns advert for so long that I feel like Indiana Jones meeting that old Templar knight.
Thankyou immensely.
You're immensely welcome.
I use to always scream LEEDS UNITED when the guy says united won, away.
Thanks!
AirCanada guy had a lovely voice ! Even the bloody Rennie ad Is great and it’s bloody heartburn meds! (Back when it was plain old heartburn and not GERD like it is now because everything’s gotten worse and todays world is absolutely shite)
and they still use the same Dove intro these days lol
blue blue blue blue bluuueee cross lol
God i don't think i've seen that Aero advert since i was about 4 years old. Seeing the bubbles in the wallpaper brought it all back! Wasn't that Sean Hughes in that ad? Brilliant collection of ad breaks, the Ryvita ad with the zip is another one i remember, and the Heineken one is a classic.
He has the eyes, but I don't think it's the man himself ...
its the actor Angus Barnett who went on to play Mullroy in Pirates of the Caribbean
anyone else hear the high pitched noise from start to finish?
Yeh it was known as VHS 🤣
100hz technology.... lol
Heineken ad = LOL!!!
When adverts were actually watchable straight to the point..I cannot stand the adverts of today so fake and false..The first thing i do is press the mute button until their over.
