@@WhiteBoardFinance Cashapp is probably the easiest way to onboard people to BTC, you have to request ability to withdraw BTC, but it’s easier to use than coin base IMO. You can only transfer 5k per week so it takes me a while to transfer to cold storage though.

Only one remark: the wallet is not in the hw ledger, the wallet (the effectively coins) is in the blockchain. You as a user only hold the private keys which are safely kept in the ledger. The bitcoin is not saved in the ledger!

@ you own basically a seed (those recovery words). A seed can be associated with lot of addresses. Those addresses are the wallets basically. The bitcoins are in the blockchain. The wallets are lists with what you hold. Is like holding a key, not a house, but with that key only you can use specific houses globally :) is that beautiful or not?

i don't think it is a store in value. The USD used to have value because it was backed by gold but since the removal of that banking its been fiat just like bitcoins. it's simply backed by nothing just like the usd
@@brycebennett8151 You don't get the whole "store of value" concept. A bank account is a store of value. Gold is a store of value. The dollar is a store of value. The dollar is a piece of paper. How does it store value? We give it value by accepting it. The same goes for bitcoin. It's the only crypto that is a valued as a store of value. The other cryptos are utilities not store of value, just like copper.

You should be using Coinbase Pro. The fees are way lower. That trade would have cost about 2 cents on there. To buy one Bitcoin at $15000 on Coinbase pro the fee is 75 dollars as a market buy. The same purchase on the Coinbase app costs 220 dollars.

I found out that you can always have access to your cryptocurrency if you have the seed phrases saved. No matter how many times a Ledger or hard wallet fails you can always get it back but must have that seed phrase that you created.

So many fees associated with Bitcoin. Purchase $5 and Pay $1 dollar in fees. Than Transfer to Ledger and Pay a fee. Why not just purchase it in Ledger and avoid the transfer fee? Are ledgers fee more expensive than coinbase to buy crypto?

Only one remark: the wallet is not in the hw ledger, the wallet (the effectively coins) is in the blockchain. You as a user only hold the private keys which are safely kept in the ledger. The bitcoin is not saved in the ledger!

@ you own basically a seed (those recovery words). A seed can be associated with lot of addresses. Those addresses are the wallets basically. The bitcoins are in the blockchain. The wallets are lists with what you hold.

i don't think it is a store in value. The USD used to have value because it was backed by gold but since the removal of that banking its been fiat just like bitcoins. it's simply backed by nothing just like the usd
@@brycebennett8151 You don't get the whole "store of value" concept. A bank account is a store of value. Gold is a store of value. The dollar is a store of value. The dollar is a piece of paper. How does it store value? We give it value by accepting it. The same goes for bitcoin. It's the only crypto that is a valued as a store of value. The other cryptos are utilities not store of value, just like copper.

No joke, coinbase has some pretty high fees for buying bitcoin.
Coinbase Pro has significantly lower fees, but definitely not as user friendly for beginners.
Blockfi has no fees and you can earn interest in your crypto!

You should be using Coinbase Pro. The fees are way lower. That trade would have cost about 2 cents on there. To buy one Bitcoin at $15000 on Coinbase pro the fee is 75 dollars as a market buy. The same purchase on the Coinbase app costs 220 dollars.

Its probably worth assuming it can be. It would probably be a good idea to set up a redundant back up on top of it in case it becomes inaccessible.
I found out that you can always have access to your cryptocurrency if you have the seed phrases saved. No matter how many times a Ledger or hard wallet fails you can always get it back but must have that seed phrase that you created.
So if I store my Bitcoin in the ledger does the price still fluctuate with the market?
