- Hello😍 Today you can see my daily routine life from morning to evening in village👧
My routine rural lifestyle as a country girl is now different from when I was in the city!
First of all in this spring daily vlog Aran and I wake up early in the morning after a cold night! Then you can see my morning routine including makeup and... Then I make a fresh olive bread and fried eggs and jam and butter and so on for breakfast and we eat together. Then I feed my hens and rooster and cats! They are so cute. Specially the new born Kittens are so amazing and lovely and you can see them in the video!😻 In today's video Aran is often seen, he mostly works in the garden and plants several tree and flower seedlings in the garden. He also does all the filming and editing of the videos, and today I'm helping him out a bit. After that I make a very delicious and popular Iranian vegetarian and vegan dish for lunch called Dampakhtak, which we also call tomato pilaf or tomato rice(دمپختک یا پلو گوجه یا قرمزی پلو یا برنج قرمز!). All Iranians love this easy simple fast dish. And I also make a delicious and easy dessert that is made with sugar and sesame and is similar to candy. And I take it to the garden with hot tea and we eat and drink together with Aran after a long routine day in the village.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely video! I'm Armenian & my family left Iran in 1965 when I was 1 & moved to Australia. Tomato rice is one of my favourites & now my sons favourite. I visited Iran with my mother as a 5 year old & surprisingly have so many vivid memories. Your beautiful garden reminds me so much of my auntie's home in Mashad. Sadly my mother passed away before I learnt to cook Persian, Armenian or Russian dishes (her parents were from Russia who migrated to Iran when she was 1 year old) so I've had to learn through cookbooks & videos. Thank you for bringing back so many memories & for showing how simple it is to make delicious food. ❤

My recent pondering over tomato pastes' possible cleaning capability was also confirmed in this episode, as my enameled cast iron pans only come out particularly spotless clean after gentle cooking of tomatoes in them; they (Tomatoes) now feature more regularly in my dishes!

This is more how I remember my grandmother in usa, I am 65yo so in the early 1960's.
It’s interesting that base of the culture which food is part of it everywhere is almost the same. If it wasn’t the language barrier between us we would have known this much earlier!

This is so much like the tomato rice we make here in South India. Only that we throw in a handful of mint leaves to it. Everything else is much the same way you have prepared. It's such a comfort food to have it with yogurt. I am so inspired to try out the eggplant pickle.

Foods with tumeric or curry powder are much better with coconut cream than with yogurt or cow's cream.
Tomato rice must be a universal dish because we also have that here in Texas. We often add diced onion and diced green pepper to it.
