Hi everyone, for anyone who has already seen it on the BeoTalk podcast, here's a good video time-lapse of the installation of this giant 77'' Beovision Harmony. It's so enormous and it has the sound to match, everything is big and superb about this ''TV'' :p If you could give this video a thumbs up and share it with friends that would help the channel out a lot, also subscribe for more videos about the Harmony :D
Hello Miki. Good morning. I just like how you manage to know most times what your subscribers really want at some times. Anyways, congrats on your bamest tv....whaoooo. It's really really cool. Anyhow, i tried talking to my bank account officer about taking out a loan to buy the B & O Harmony TV. Well, he just looked at me with that look of pity, opened his lower drawer on his desk and gave me a red card,😂😂😂 like i have committed an offence. Then reaching for his drawer on the left side of his table, he brought out a Russian flag..mmmm;😝😝😝.. is he sending me to Russia to work, or to a Russian gulag?😭😭😭. Miki, how much is this TV or is my account so much in the red?😂😂😂😂. Enjoy....!!!!
@@albertokito Thanks Albert, yeah it's a bit pricey yes, but for what you get it's not bad actually. Still the paying part is the least fun of the whole process lol Maybe try and convince your bank manager of this and avoid the gulag, or if that doesn't work at-least ask if you can go in a warmer place :p Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi thank you so much for this video! i bought a beovision harmony and my children broke the screen, do you think i can install any LG tv in replacement of the previous one ? The LG OLED 77C9 is not available anymore ...
yes, any C and G series panel should work. The CX is a direct replacement. iirc from the 1 series they only tried to sell G series panels but functionally there is no reason the C series won't work, like a C1. But you'd have to check with your dealer if the offset bracket on the back is still the same for the 1 or now coming 2 series chassis are the same. I don't know that of the top of my head but your dealer will. In general now the panels are upgradeable for as long as they make the harmony chassis, so it shouldn't be a problem at all.
Congratulations. A truly beautiful set and destined to be a future B&O classic in my opinion . I’m just curious what actually made you go for the harmony as you already had a lovely Eclipse ? ( and BL 50’s). For me I think just watching the set open and close would be enough to get one. Sadly my bank account/manager would have a different opinion 😄. Enjoy .
well there is that lol and the looks combined. I liked the eclipse, but I love the Harmony and it's huuuge :p The sound was honestly a big reason too, the eclipse sounded good, but the Harmony sounds like a mini beolab 50 and you don't notice it as a different sound. It's now just a wall of sound and basically my living room is also my cinema room so it makes a huge difference in my use case. It's sooo much better it's not funny anymore. and the eclipse is still one of the best TV's around, it's just not THE best anymore. it's great, have a listen at your loacal dealer if they have one :D
Very nice time lapse. I was wondIering how long it would be for B & W to go in to the boxes. I laughed when you smiled when you got the distance from the wall the same with your measuring tape :-). Looks like a very clean install. It seems your install and also the install on the B&O site always mean that you're "shoe horned" in to a cramped space to try and do all the connections once the TV is on the SoundCentre / SoundStage. Looks lovely together with your BL50's and the mechanism looks really smooth and elegant. Cheers,
I didn't even notice i did that lol I know iam a stickler for symmetry, so I couldn't have one side stick out farther. the speakers now are also exactly the same distance from the screen either side. the install is very clean imo and with the floor stand you do get a bit more cable room. I spent even more time going over it since then as it has to be perfect as I won't be moving it much anyway, it's too heavy lol. The whole set now is as you say very elegant, I'll do more videos on it soon :D Thanks for watching and commenting!
thanks for the video. Just got my harmony 77inch, but not sure if the actual mechanism should be smooth or not. I noticed in the beginning of opening I can hear a noise, hard to explain how exactly it sounds)), and the last second of finishing with opening also a sound like something get tighten there. Trying not to be picky but wanted to hear from you if you experience the same. I was thinking in the beginning the the whole proces of the moving part should be without any noise and smooth. Thanks !!!!
Depends a bit on how loud it is and what kind of sound it is, I know that can be hard to explain. Movement will always create a bit of noise and I believe (not 100% sure) there is some sort of locking mechanism on the bottom and top to keep it in place. Mine made a bit of noise when it wasn't lined up straight, once i fixed that it was a lot quieter. It's something to ask your dealer about, both things, and see what he says. It should be fairly quiet but not 100% silent so to say. hope that helps?
@@Mikipedia got it, thanks for response. one last question, did you fix it yourself or had a dealer do it for you? if yourself, could you little guide me on how you did that? The reason I asked because it;s been difficult to have somebody to help me over the phone with this issue, prob need to be more persistent on that :)
@@Mikipedia thanks so much. that's very helpful, not sure why they didn't tell me about that video. I wished contact you earlier and not wasting so much time and energy with the dealer :)
no but you don't have to stare at a black hole anymore once it's off. also depending on what you want to do, you can use it in the down position for music etc.
@@Mikipedia Yeah, or at least for the channel information display and stuff to wait until the wings reveals the full screen. Anyway, here's me worrying about a TV I'll probably never afford haha

Clearly you're wrong on several levels as not even all of it is expensive at all. Secondly you seem like the type of person that looks at a Rembrandt or van Gogh and think's ''that's a bit expensive for canvas and some paint!'' Lastly you copy paste the same comment, which is rather lazy and unoriginal.
@@pascalkrzeminski7341 Why would that happen? B&O has made moving parts for decades and they've all been with out issues, they're the longest lasting bit and last even longer than the speaker drivers.
