Just my opinion, but I think a whole lot of Raider hating pundits were glad that the QBs’ were gone and they were waiting for the team to make a boneheaded panic pick. When they took Bowers, all those shills really couldn’t handle it and have been obsessively whining ever since. All of those idiots have to know that Bowers has the ability to be more than just a TE and that paired with rest of the weapons on offense the Raiders should be frightening with either AOC or Gardner. Again, just my opinion. Also, Bowers is often mentioned as a potential “slot” receiver and maybe that’s why Hunter got the boot. Bowers could have been the plan B all along.
