Gruden wasnt an employee when he made the comment and he wasn’t an employee when he sued. This is an unjust ruling.

However, they Court ruled he was a past employee, then a current, then a past, and they said the rule states ALL former employees have to go through arbitration.

He didn’t have to be. Companies let people go for things they post online, off the clock or before they got hired. Not saying it’s wrong or right. I’m just saying that it’s not exclusive to the NFL.

It seemed to me that they tried to set it up so Davis had to fire him so he would turn around and sue the Raiders, stranding them with his salary, and hampering their cash flow and ability to hire another quality coach. This wasn't just a vendetta against Gruden, it was a continuance in the petty vendetta the league has carried out against the Raiders since Al Davis stuck up for his rights as an owner to do what was best for his organization almost 40 years ago.
They tried to stall our future progress which sort of worked and the bigger issue was it was scapegoating to protect washington and Dan Snyder and on top of that,It was more so the fact Gruden talked bad about goodell and he used the same emails that were known to exsist while Gruden was working Monday night football for years. It was a screwjob period.
For either the fact we were gaining the same level of confidence and momentum we have now with AP,or just simply being offended by grudens words to protect the nfl and washington/snyder from being exposed to being everything they claimed gruden was in those emails.

I definitely agree with this comment here, there is definitely something going on with the Raiders, we truly are cursed and are not allowed to be the Raiders anymore, the NFL has created its own new version of the Raiders and they are called "The Kansas Shitty Chiefs" after that fat bastard Andy Ried Sacrificed his son in Philadelphia all the sudden he leaves Philly go to KC and win 3 Fxxxxx Superbowls putting them ahead of us. There is some heavy witchcraft performed against our franchise and it's likely because of AL Davis. They are trying to get rid of the Raiders for good and I hope it never happens but too bad Mark Davis doesn't have the balls to stand up to them lime his father did. I disagree. In view of the fact that it was a 2-1 decision, there is a decent chance that an en banc hearing will resule in a different conclusion. I get the fact that the law generally favors the survival or arbitrations after contract termination. But the terms of the provision are so patently unfair that there is a good argument for it not surviving.

Been through the process myself. You win the first battle but you lose the appeal. You are forced into NFL Arbitration where you can’t possibly win. It also happened to Tom Brady in Deflate Gate. He won round one but lost the appeal and was forced into NFL Arbitration. CORRUPTION!
What really pisses me off about this whole thing is that you have people who call themselves "Raider Fans" that will say dumb sxxx like, " Well I was never really a Gruden fan anyways" or "The League did us a favor by getting rid of Gruden so I don't see the big deal" and "I can careless about Gruden its out with the old and in with the new" like....idk about anybody else but that shyte really irritates tf out of me because it really shows that a lot of the people in our fanbase are very ignorant, they have no commitment to excellence, they don't have a single clue of what it means to be a Raider, and they simply do not, cannot, and will never see the bigger picture.
