I'm a fan of churches, especially with amazing light on them. If you ever come to the US again, be sure to make a stop at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and photograph the church with the amazing stone stairs leading up to it! The whole town is just awash in history, architecture, and amazing compositions!
I loved this Mads. Isn't it the best feeling when you get light like that. It also reminded me that there are things still to photograph locally to me - you just need that epic light. My favourite image as the third one of the church. Awesome video yet again!
Thanks a lot, Nigel! Yes, the light makes such a difference. These are also some of my favorite lighthouse photos, yet the lighthouse in itself isn't really :)
Dear Mads, not only that your photographs are true masterpieces, more or less it's a big pleasure to watch the joy, happiness and passion during your sessions. Keep on - all the best. Stay healthy . Kindest regards Rolf
Absolutely amazing final image of the church at 15:26! As you showed us that it was the real light happening at that moment, I would like to say: “Eat your heart out Luminar!”. The real thing can never be beaten. Other images stunning as well…blown away Mads!
Your enthusiasm is contagious makes me want to go out in bad weather ! Wonderful video and I love every single shot of that church. Thanks for sharing.
The wind was crazy. Love the light on the first shots. Red light house, so cool. You just sold me on getting out in crappy weather. The staircase shot looks like the walk to death row.
Dear Mads, I concur with Nigel's opinion great, great. What beautiful beautiful pictures. You bring the Christian faith to light in a different way. Thank you for your commitment and indeed you do not have to travel immediately but also look in your own immediate environment. A small disadvantage is that at some point you have become "blind" to it. Seen too much and too often.
Hi, Mads! You are absolutely correct. The photos in the video were amazing. I can't pick a favorite. There are different things about each photo that I like. I WILL say, however, that the best sequence for me was the ones you took of the sea and the waves. Not only was the light gorgeous, but the music that you selected to go with it just made it EPIC (for me). :) The color in the sky behind that church for the last photos ... amazing! The sky looks unreal! Great stuff! :)
the red lighthouse is absolutely perfect and the one with the rainbow... well... HUGE LIKE! love the last vertical shot - the light was working for you (at least that... with such wind :) )
Absolutely stunning. The light conditions were spectacular. How fortunate you were to photograph the red lighthouse with a rainbow. What a day you had even with those challenging winds.
You show how one can get AMAZING images from dramatic weather patterns, Mads! A person just needs to get out there when others might prefer staying inside. The light and clouds are incredible and your images of the church and lighthouse really show the mood of the moment. So glad you spent the day out in that wind getting these images.
Wonderful video, Mads. That last picture of the church really stood out and I really liked the ones looking out to sea with the staircase drawing you in.
Wow, wow, wow, one of your best videos. What fantastic conditions, the view down to the ocean is awesome. I have to find out some churches here....but the sea...i miss the sea so much. Hope we can travel agains soon. Thank you so much for this. Kind regards, Sandro
Those images are spectacular Mads, I just love the way you edit. I also like your enthusiasm as these very windy conditions are quite normal in my west coast corner of the UK. It can be challenging!
The benefits of be a professional photographer. You can be out all time. I don't know how many times I´v seen fantastic light or great morning fog .... on my way to work.
Mad's enthusiasm and his beautiful use of the English language is so inspiring (and I'm English!!). His British videos were so helpful to me on a return trip to the UK and this one about his native Denmark makes me want to return for a photo trip around Denmark. Thank you Mads.
Got some impressive storm images of the Church. I loved that flag staff moving back and forth under the wind pressure while you were moving toward the church with the wide angle. Lighthouse and rainbow was great. Red lighthouse and storm clouds can't beat that. Really nice!!!!
Just beautiful shots! I like the vertical staircase shot as you got low enough for the hand rails to intersect the sides of the frame rather than the bottom. Such a strong leading line.
Nice video and some beautiful images. A beautiful storm too, and have no problem understanding your fear for the camera to tip over. It's so nice to see You making all these wonderful videos from Denmark. I have started to really love woodland photography and your videos about that have been just amazing. Our local area does deliver a lot of amazing images, just have to get out as much as possible.
What a great video and the photos was fantastic, you are so good to capture the perfect light and you are doing it here in Denmark, just fantastic, I love it.
Mads your excitement (100% justified) inspired me to get out and shoot. The light and location looked amazing, it should make for great images... which it did!
Wow...it might've been windy beyond believe, but that location was sure generous! The last image was unreal. This video has also given me some new ideas for photography around my local area -- so a huge thank you for that inspiration!!
Wow what great images - I wasn’t a huge fan of the church to begin with but those last photos looked incredible - and the sky in every single shot looked awesome! What brilliant conditions to be out in 🙌👏
Music reflects how i feel when i find “that” image. I didn’t see the stairs to the sea as much to shoot till you showed the edited final, then, what a surprise! 😁 thank you for sharing this shoot.
You really were blessed with some exceptional light Mads and you certainly made the most of it. Loved the striking colour of the lighthouse as when you think of lighthouses you tend to envisage them as predominately white, so this was interesting to see one in a totally different colour. Really enjoyed this and thankful you are in a position to produce your wonderful videos each week
These are some wonderful images! I was looking for a black and white of the church in the first part. I think that it would have been a dramatic image. Thanks again for sharing you adventures. I love lighthouses and this one was no exception. Great stuff!
If one good thing came out of lockdown it is you having to stay at home photographing Denmark. To get these photos from those locations shows that you are a true master in your field. I so wish you would do a workshop in Denmark. (I write this in almost all my comments to your videos 😋) I would most certainly attend.
I really liked this one. Your energy when the light changed was amazing. I really liked seeing that joy because I think that it resonated with me as a photographer because we all get like that sometimes and I could really tell how excited you were.
Beautiful photos as always, Mads. I really love the simplicity a linearity of your composition, the natural post processing you made to your photos. Keep on truckin'!
Right person at the right place and at the right time.
What an amazing contrast between the quiet and warm church imagess and then staircase to the angry seas below! Big weather, big payoffs!
HOW do you NOT have more subscribers....WOW....EPIC DAY, EPIC IMAGES.....Unreal.....Almost Speachless!!!

I agree with you regarding horizontal format for the lighthouse and I also liked horizontal for the interesting stairway.
The more I see your Denmark photos the more I want to visit with my camera. Beautiful country.
Wow, what fantastic light you had. I loved the couple of points in the video when you almost said "epic" and changed at the last second!
always nice to see someone passionate about something ... thanks Mads !

You are a very lucky guy. What a beautiful trip. I like your enthusiasm about this scene.
Thank you for showing how you worked the composition to remove the white building you found distracting. Helpful!
