I saw the title and instantly thought Sabaton covered Avenged Sevenfold in a metal way. I was not disappointed despite this not being a cover.
The truth is that only Avenged Sevenfold could cover Sabaton because this is 2001 and A.S. is 2013.

@@JK_5076 He's referring to the songs in question. Sabaton's Hail to the King was recorded in 2001/2002, Avenged Sevenfold's Hail to the King was 2013.
Both bands formed in 1999.

Metalizer was the remake. The original is from their Fist for Fight demo from 2001.

As awesome as this is, I think the best part about it is it shows just how much Sabaton has grown as a band. The lyric video is great, Joakim's voice is stellar as always, and the guitar and drum work are electrifying, but you guys have really knocked it out of the park with your development lyrically in the past 15 years. Old Sabaton was awesome. Modern Sabaton is a religious experience.

Honestly, one of my favorite Sabaton songs. Metalizer as an album is just underrated in general
I mean, it is (basically) their first album, most bands debut albums are not the most popular. Powerwolf, Rammstein, Stratovarius, Wind Rose, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Battle Beast for example.

Nothing neccesarily historical things but maybe things from literature.
Some sabaton fans have reference these lyrics to be inspired by Hamlet.
Or Story of Hrolf Kraki who is kind of real history, but he was basically danish/scandinavian version of King Arthur.

Dunno about yall but the album Metalizer just doesnt feel Sabaton if you know what i mean
I can't say I love this song.. but I'm really bothered by the pretty clear use of AI art in this video.

@@runajain5773 Look at the weapons and the way they are held. You've got random handles to bladeless swords. That's the most glaring. Blades held in strange ways that no person would draw them because they just look unbalanced. Not to mention times where you have four armed guys. If you just look at it for more than a few seconds the details hit you.
@@runajain5773 0:22 - the weapons hilt is long, and he's holding some amorphous thing in the other. 0:24 The scene after has similar. 0:26 The hold of the sword is absolutely ass backwards. 0:31 One dude has four arms. Several mangled limbs. 0:37 Extremely long hilt, weapons with absolutely no regard to scale. There are others but that's in the first 40 seconds. These are all hallmarks of AI. And I've seen it in other videos they released. I've said on another video that it's pretty upsetting to see as an artist, myself. They could have tapped some real talent for this, but instead they AI generated a series of images. Shame on them.
It doesn't take a genius to tell ai art from real art. Ai art is always garbage. Proportions are wrong. Nothing is ever streamlined. It's a jumbled mess of art from other sources thrown together and shit out.
