Funny thing about braiding, doing it irl is a 6 to 8 hour process meaning you have to sit in the salon chair for half a day😭 . Your box braiding technique is ingenious I'm going to try that.

She is so amazing!!! The only thing I would add is some color to the backs of her ears that matches her hair - maybe with pastels? With your version's awesome larger and more detailed ears they end up coming across as a little "fleshy", lol. Incredible work as always! You are my favorite doll artist!!!
I agree because the ears looks fluffy and I know that in the original the ears are the same colour of Clawdeens body but I presume that’s because they are not like traditional fluffy ears. And with normal werewolves the ear colour/ fur is the same colour as their hair/fur.
I really dislike clawdeen’s G3 doll because it feels like they took away her personality. So I’m really happy that you gave one of my favorite black characters the fierceness she deserves.

The eyes already looked so cute after you showed them made, but when you showed them inserted in the face my jaw DROPPED. So cute and sparkly! The big sparkly irises are so anime but also make me think of soulful wolf eyes. Could not have been more perfect! ✨💖

I think that Elisa has said before that she would not due to the dangers of a recast being a thing. A recast being someone reselling the printed dolls without permission for a lower price.
My brother wants to get a 3D printer and asked me if I'd ever be willing to buy one together as they're so expensive. If the 3D files were ever sold I'd be buying the printer without a second damn thought

I also quite like the diverse body types and heights in g3, I just wish Cleo and Frankie's heights were switched. i remember when 3d printing was a science fiction concept. then it became a fancy thing that some large doll youtubers could do, now most of your dolls are custom modeled and 3d printed. its so incredible where technology can go! i love how much effort you guys put into these beautiful little pieces of art

I feel like this fit might work really well with Roxanne Wolf. The mix of neon-like colors, the wolf motif, most of the little details, just would probably be perfect.
The skin tone turned out beautiful! Kudos to you for taking so much time to get things right. I could not braid this many braids lol If I may suggest, if you're doing Frankie Stein at some point, you could give them a smaller chest to help with some androgynous aesthetic? Most MH girls are pretty super femme so Frankie could be a little change of pace, if that's what you could use sometime!
I think they're basing them on G1 not G3 and in G1 Frankie is feminine and punk rock and goes by she.. but it would be cool to see G1 and G3 in her style
I personally would like to see you revamp Abby Bominable. She's my absolute favorite Monster High character. Your Clawdeen is gorgeous! I love the box braids, the fur jacket, and her boots!! But I think what drew my attention the most had been her eyes and makeup. Definitely, a Clawdeen staple for purple, neon green, and gold to be somewhere in her color palette at all times.
I almost want to cry. THIS is what dolls are supposed to be like. Made with so much skill, and love. You went above and beyond making her, this is something I can imagine buying for my child as special occasions such as holidays, or the child's birthday, or hey, just a wonderful gift for fun as luxury for my kid. This is also the type of dolls you expect to see as collector items. Ones that will cost a lot in the future. I can't believe how beautiful this turned out and cannot wait to see the other girls. You really went above and beyond with this doll, and I'm so excited to see more. Monster high downgraded their dolls to an extent, from the fashion, to how the dolls are made and it's quite disheartening to see. So to witness how well this turned out even though it's not a part of the line is crazy. what's more is that you actually stayed true to the character's personality and design while still making it your own, this is exactly what clawdeen would wear, and even her body type being tall and fit goes with her so well. Really was in love with the video and can't wait to see the rest of what you make!!!

Hey!! From one artist to another, I personally think the blushing on Clawdeen's face is a bit too light pink? It's a bit better with the darker eyeshadow underneath her eyes and dark hair framing her face but at 10:46 It's really amplified. When it comes to shading a darker person typically you want the blushing to be darker, like a deeper red. Pink is usually for white/peachy skin tones. It just sorta contrasts a bit too much IMO and doesn't look realistic to actual blush for deeper skin tones.
I never watched the show, but working retail I saw some of the toys and the designs had some flair to em. Nice to see someone take them for a spin in their own style. You go so far above and beyond on all of these; it's insane and very inspiring!

I feel like this fit might work really well with Roxanne Wolf. The mix of neon-like colors, the wolf motif, most of the little details, just would probably be perfect.
My favorite thing about any sort of craft hobby is that the longer you do it, the more crafts are made from things you already had.
The skin tone turned out beautiful! Kudos to you for taking so much time to get things right. I could not braid this many braids lol
If I may suggest, if you're doing Frankie Stein at some point, you could give them a smaller chest to help with some androgynous aesthetic? Most MH girls are pretty super femme so Frankie could be a little change of pace, if that's what you could use sometime!
I think they're basing them on G1 not G3 and in G1 Frankie is feminine and punk rock and goes by she.. but it would be cool to see G1 and G3 in her style

Your Clawdeen is gorgeous! I love the box braids, the fur jacket, and her boots!! But I think what drew my attention the most had been her eyes and makeup. Definitely, a Clawdeen staple for purple, neon green, and gold to be somewhere in her color palette at all times.
I almost want to cry. THIS is what dolls are supposed to be like. Made with so much skill, and love. You went above and beyond making her, this is something I can imagine buying for my child as special occasions such as holidays, or the child's birthday, or hey, just a wonderful gift for fun as luxury for my kid. This is also the type of dolls you expect to see as collector items. Ones that will cost a lot in the future. I can't believe how beautiful this turned out and cannot wait to see the other girls. You really went above and beyond with this doll, and I'm so excited to see more. Monster high downgraded their dolls to an extent, from the fashion, to how the dolls are made and it's quite disheartening to see. So to witness how well this turned out even though it's not a part of the line is crazy. what's more is that you actually stayed true to the character's personality and design while still making it your own, this is exactly what clawdeen would wear, and even her body type being tall and fit goes with her so well. Really was in love with the video and can't wait to see the rest of what you make!!!

I’m curious. What do you do with the misprints? Have you ever used the parts that aren’t too bad? Like do a doll with the some parts that aren’t horrifically misprinted?
Maybe there could be like, some kind of horror doll made out of failed prints. Like a really messed up frankenstein-esque chimera creation.
A doll that represents those with disabilities could be awesome.

This feels a little bit like a long shot lol, but if you do ever feel like it I would legit be interested in seeing you interpret at least one of the guy monster high dolls like this. Porter Geiss, Invisi Billy, and Heath Burns are the ones I'd be most curious about but honestly anything would be really cool.

Despite all the printer issues and time consuming wig making, she turned out absolutely beautiful. I love the pops of color in her hair. She actually reminds me of how g1 looked. You have dedication and it shows in your work.
Going back and rewatching all of these redesigns now that Abby is out, and I can't help but feel like if the original dolls were Monster High, these girls are their Monster Collage Days counterparts hehe

Hey!! From one artist to another, I personally think the blushing on Clawdeen's face is a bit too light pink? It's a bit better with the darker eyeshadow underneath her eyes and dark hair framing her face but at 10:46 It's really amplified. When it comes to shading a darker person typically you want the blushing to be darker, like a deeper red. Pink is usually for white/peachy skin tones. It just sorta contrasts a bit too much IMO and doesn't look realistic to actual blush for deeper skin tones.

I never watched the show, but working retail I saw some of the toys and the designs had some flair to em. Nice to see someone take them for a spin in their own style. You go so far above and beyond on all of these; it's insane and very inspiring!
