    is it wrong if i do all of this without using the rig but only armature?

      Hey there, in Blender the rig and the armature are basically the same thing, and it's perfectly fine to animate the bones of the armature directly. What we did in the previous tutorial on rigging is set up the displays of the armature to have handy handles (such as circles or boxes) which can be more easily grabbed. We also added additional functionality to the armature such as Inverse Kinematics to make moving the legs and arms easier.

      @@ironbarkgames thanks. I managed to make my character walking and moving using a child of on plane below to armature. I did not have so many movements but its pretty close to ur

    I'm sure i did the rig right, but i can't seem to be able to bend the arms. Any tips for why this may happens?

      Hmm... are you making sure to grab the hand controllers and not the arm bones? The arm bones won't be able to move as they are restricted by the IK constraint on the arm controller.

      Yes! I can move and rotate the arms but they don't cross, they only wants to be straight like two spaghettis hahaha so i can't make the actions look natural.😅

      Interesting, this probably indicates there is an issue with the rig if the arms cannot bend at the elbow using the hand controller. It could be an issue with the IK constraint, or perhaps the wrong bones were parented when connecting the hand controller to the shoulder.

      DId you happen to fix your issue . after 9 months lol. Im sure your a pro by now@@ttabata
