As a Swede, I love the Swedish apples! No, they are usually not big and sweet, instead small and a little sour. Makes them perfect for desserts when you do not want it all "sugary". Also, if you get the chance, taste Swedish "glasäpple". Very rare and easily destroyed - best eaten as they are, directly from the tree.
I'm a fan of Jamie Oliver and her but feel I'd rather eat her meals. Plus while he's a nice fellow I'd find her a more relaxed host and more comfortable and normal to be around.
I watched all her cooking shows twice each and learned much from her while she cooked in France
She's lovely and an excellent cook.
