  • Locating a tinted moisturizer that accurately matches your specific skin tone can be tricky. So, why don’t you just make your own? In this video, I will show how a customized tinted moisturizer can be made.
    Tools required:
    - Moisturizer of your choice
    - Foundation of your choice
    - A bowl
    - A spoon/spatula
Step 1: Selecting the right facial moisturizer
Add one spoon or less of your facial moisturizer into the bowl. To ensure the best results, when choosing the moisturizer, consider opting for one that is suitable for your skin type.
    Step 2: Creating foundation mixture
Now, it’s time to add a bit of the foundation to the moisturizer.
Liquid foundation provides the best results since it’s easier to mix. Make sure that the foundation you’ve chosen matches your skin tone so that it will blend into the skin without any problem.
Add a maximum of one spoon or less of the foundation to the moisturizer. The amount used also depends on how strong you want the coverage to be.
Keep in mind that the tinted moisturizer shouldn’t be full coverage! It should only even out your skin tone.
Don’t forget to mix the concoction until all lumps have been removed.
    Step 3: Application
    It’s show time!
Use your fingers for best application.
Apply a few dots of the mixture on your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead and blend it evenly into the skin using circular motions.
Voila! The perfect tinted moisturizer is ready!

I started doing this to prevent my foundation looking cakey. It looks so much more natural, now! I just mix it in my hand, then apply. Now mask-y, cakey foundation is a thing of the past. GREAT tip!

I just tried this hack and it looked so natural on my face. There was slight coverage that is very similar to BB creams and it even out my skin tone which I'm loving. I don't personally use foundations anymore because I'm no longer used to it since the pandemic began, but this is a great way to reuse them

This is a good tutorial but I have three tips:
1: Stay away from mixing your foundation and moisturizer with a spoon, this messes up the PH level
2: When applying the foundation stay away from rubbing it into the skin, this process of rubbing causes friction which leads to irritation. Instead, apply it with a gentle tapping motion or apply with a brush. :)
3: I have found this technique works best with a drop of oil. My personal favourite to mix with is argan oil. This oil not only helps to control sebum production but also helps to get the foundation to set properly and leave a beautiful glow!
4: I usually put some primer underneath, I feel like this works amazingly to hide pores and make the foundation glide right on!
    Hope this helps! 💖💓❤

Rubbing your skin doesn't irritate, no one could put on cream on sunscreen since they need to be rubbed in. Perhaps you mean "don't tug aggressively", which is not what she did here. Hello??

@@burningflower1 I don't know who told you that. I've done facials on many individuals and what you're saying is not accurate. If it were true all of them would be getting irritation and rashes with the exfoliation, massages and gua-sha. They do not. Maybe if you go to get a facial where the person is not careful? I tried with serum instead and it worked pretty well, you will get a watery and lightweight texture, resembling the glossier’s skin tint, but it did got onto patchy spot a bit but I’m not surprised since it’s watery, but it can be saved with moisturizing primer.
I also tried with gel moisturizer, love the moisturizing feel, it felt very refreshing on my skin but it makes me look so oily instead of glowy.

Yeah, you can use a full coverage foundation and mix it with your moisturizer. If you are using a whiting lotion, try to mix it with your foundation and see how it behaves on your skin to see if the whiting lotion does not change the color of your foundation while wearing it on the face.
