Jedd 'Hitman' Hughes - I like it. A new record for 2025 sounds like a great start. Thanks for the Snow Blues. Got several inches of snow last night in Va. Though I generally care less for snow (winter in general) as years pile on, admiring the glow of an evening snow is something that never gets old.
I’m so glad to hear that you’re having fun, making great music, and doing well! My wife and I had our baby 7 weeks early so he’s in the NICU but we are so blessed to have him. Other than that, I’m playing what gigs I can to survive this slow season. 😹

Hey man did you find (as I did) that growing up in Australia in the 90’s there was a real chasm between the music that was popular here and the rest of the world? I grew up in a medium sized city and found there were very few pathways to discover the wide world of music other than by sheer chance meetings with strangers. How did you discover the need to go to Nashville and try to hit the big time rather than say go to Melbourne and start there? So glad that you’ve found what looks like such a rich and rewarding life over there, Australia is much the poorer for missing you mate!

Jedd, i hear so many Tom Buch-esque things in this. Is there an uncle Larry's influence in your playing or is it the other way around? Lol. We all pull from each other so i was wondering. Tom just plays with such different colors that i dont always hear elsewhere so it catches my attention.
@JeddHughesOfficial Its awesome! You guys mesh so well. I know I'll hit something in my playing and I'll hear "what was that Derek Trucks" thing you did? Those influences just find their way into how we hear the notes on the fretboard.
Jedd, you should write songs for you, tom an, guthrie and the other cats that we all can sing along to, that will get you all on the road, I know you can and I'm sure the others have a lot of good ideas as well, come on, we would love it.
