@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead Well I figured it out it's cuz it seems like you guys kind of smile while you talk. It's a really hospitable speech! Cheers mate!
Great to see things getting so green. We're heading into our Autumn and the temps are starting to cool down a little bit. Still got some good summer left, but August is always the beginning when things get just a little bit nicer for working outside! With the rain you're getting, I wonder how your beaver dams are doing. Are plants growing in them? Is the water ponding up better? You banked a couple billion gallons of water last year, turning the ground quite swampy, and I expect things'll be even better this year now that they've had a chance to maybe solidify a bit.
@@threeriversforge1997 this is the best time of year to be working outside. Still not much rain and it was dry last year too. 22 was our last decent rain year 😭
When the chicken mesh is put up, paint it black just with a roller and it will basically make it disappear when looking from a distance. Makes the whole cage less of an impact on surrounding views
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead Yeah, green or black wire mesh can really fade away from the view at a certain angle and distance, as if it isn't even there. It looks quite nice. 👍
Why does an Aussie accent just kind of make you smile?
Haha, dues it? Glad to put a smile on someone’s face!

The chicken looks great so far. I look forward to seeing it when it is finished. Welding is definitely a skill I plan to learn.
Well keep posted because I’m going to be teaching Amanda this week and filming it 👍
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead I look forward to seeing. I have watched a few videos but always keen for more.
Awesome - welder looks great too

Hay mate, are you running that welder off a generator? what size?
@@BenSmith-ch8bc yeah mate, it’s a Dewalt 8kva, I run my other two welders off it as well (250amp mig and 200amp ac/dc tig)
@@ROCKPILEOffgridHomestead thanks very much. What other big power output “man toys” do you run with that? Air compressor ect?
