Its been 5 years since I came out and I'm still struggling with loving myself its so hard I was actually depressed before I watched this and now I feel better
i'd just like to say a huge thank you to keiynan for being such a big inspiration and part of my life. every step, every phase he seems to pop up. as a kid i adored dance academy which he was in, the character who he played that was gay helped me understand that part of the world from a young age. i got into divergent which he's in when it comes to the movies and as my favourite character, that series really helped me during a rough stage of my life. then, his coming out and love, simon. those happened at just the perfect moment, when i was coming to terms with who i was and i just felt so inspired. now i'm able to be who i am at school with no regrets. thank you so much for being so inspiring, proud to be a fellow lgbtq+ australian dancer

Watching this, I'm inspired by him in a whole new way! He's so humble and kind and I really resonated with his struggles of feeling like, growing up, he needed to just keep his head down & please everyone else - as well as hearing A Fellow Bi talk about how they had just one type of crush thinking they were straight for quite awhile until around college age (totally similar to me too!) Like, it's nice to hear that experience valid8ed bc many other people "knew from a young age" or had crushes on multiple genders when they were way younger, but not figuring shit out until college or later is a Real Thing
