The two Mias looked really good with the professional makeup. The heavier make up for the dancing is stage make up and works well for that brightly lit stage.
I wonder why these youngsters aren't in some kind of ballet instruction? It would definitely help with the graceful movement and positioning of their hands and feet.
Guys, honestly I like professional dancing,if not forced, to me it’s sports, but I don’t want to do it,too much about The Look, that’s not me 🤗 But the shoes, I would like to have 🥰😎😎
The poor makeup artists in the store were just trying to give them make up appropriate for their age. I thought both of them were a few years older than they actually were when they walked in! They looked a lot more natural afterwards. Sad that they feel they have to be caked in heavy makeup whenever they go out to look ok. These girls are probably going to end up with major body image problems if they don't already.
i am a latin dancer myself and the ehavy make up is sooo important because without it the stage lights completly wash you out and from 5 meters away you wouldnt be able to tell where their eyes are
The Angela woman is annoying and loud. She wants to be on camera. Olivia has a fantastic attitude. The Mia's looked beautiful with their more natural makeup. At the competition the Mia of Andrei and Mia looked much older with her heavy makeup.
Beauty standards vary by culture, household, and person maybe the culture or the person doesn't care?? Some dental issues may necessitate braces but I'm sure most people commenting on her teeth only care because they think someone's appearance is an appropriate thing to comment on or has any weight on a person's value. The girl is 14 years old, leave her and her teeth alone. There is nothing wrong with her being in her body the way it is and if she needs or wants braces that's for her and her family to decide.
Lol agreed! Bro if they got money for thousands of dollars for fkn CLOTHES they need to shell out the cash for their kids’ health too. Damn. Their priorities are skewed.
I lived in UK for 13 years. We all went to the dentist when travelling back to various home counties... I don't know if it's the cost or culture but I have never seen as many terrible teeth as I did in uk
There are many, many sports judged on appearances, and not just clothes, but actual physical appearance. I’m talking Olympic sports, too like gymnastics, figure skating, diving, … it’s disgusting.
Their baby teeth haven’t all been replaced with permanent teeth. I don’t know very many Orthodontists who want to start teeth work for straightening until they are in. That has been mine and my children’s experience anyway.
@@cindiallain8542 absolutely crap and not how it works. I'm a third grade teacher most of my students have begun the process by the end if the school year. Stop spreading your bs.
Maybe she doesn´t want to, who knows. When I was a kid, my mother offered me to have braces to straighten one tooth of mine that is a little askew. I just didn´t want to, I liked my tooth as it was. Many years later, I still don´t regret it. It isn´t that bad and is part of me. Could also be that Mia has to grow a little bit more before she gets braces, sometimes that is the case. We shouldn´t judge. 💖 Besides, she is a stunning and talented girl.
Might be a cultural thing. They might just not care. Whereas here in the States it's looked at as if you don't take care of yourself. Might not be that way in UK.
Braces are not just for appearance sake. As a dental professional, I can assure you that incorrectly aligned teeth cause many problems in later years. The parent needs to make the decisions re. the child's healthcare. Would a parent say that it is OK if they can't see well in school but don't want to wear glasses? We need to act like adults…
Most high school kids stay up till 1 am or later watching TV or doing other non productive stuff. I have a feeling you wouldn't feel so harsh about that because it's more normal to you. These kids do not look miserable nor does it seem their parents are bullying them to do this. Chill.

Olivia is a little superstar , love her attitude 🤩
Just love Warren, his patience and love of the children
Love this series and really enjoy seeing the adults bringing joy to the children teaching dance. This one in particular touched my heart!
I wonder why these youngsters aren't in some kind of ballet instruction? It would definitely help with the graceful movement and positioning of their hands and feet.
Olivia is such a star love her comebacks when talking with Matt lol
Thank you for upload, I love those shows and have nowhere else to see them.
Olivia reminds me so much of Hermione :)
The correct couple won the Latin. They were clear winners
How do these ladies lean their heads so far back without falling?!? They look beautiful, but damn! I’d be on my arse if I ever tried that!
The award night through everything off for me. It was raunchy even for adults not along for young kids to attend.
Huh? What did you mean? I saw nothing on the program that came off as even remotely 'raunchy'.

This Angela really is a nightmare. 🙈🙈🙈
Why does it always look like they don't have orthodontists and dentists in the UK? Seriously, give that poor girl braces!!

The expense is ridiculous. Children shouldn’t be judged by the dress their parents can afford. Put them all in the same performance costumes.

they aren't judged on the dress. they are judged on the performance of the dance. the dress is just there for the aesthetic
They don't look like kids some of the 12yr olds look 20
Mia is 13 and looks about 30 !! So sad . Those dresses are way too old for her . Just crazy
Why was there cha cha music being played during the waltz competition? Very wierd.
How are they so concerned with their looks yet don't fix their teeth??
My thoughts exactly!!!!!
Mia's parents are neglecting her teeth in favor of custom dresses.

They’re British. ALL British have horrible teeth. LOL
How's come her parents haven't gotten her braces... I'm sure they can afford them......

@@asbisi braces can start as early as 7 years old. Idk why you're making excuses for them.
Not everyone needs perfect teeth its not important.

It's really a crime that their parents don't fix their teeth!!! All the makeup in the world doesn't hide that poor girl's front teeth!!!
Absolutely Disgusting to Keep a Child Up for that many Hours to Pursue what a parent wants from them.

High school. And they choose.
Here they are barely teens and do this probably every day
