That’s hilarious. Everyone putting in new fluid gets crafty. I use condiment bottles like you would use for ketchup or mustard. 😂😂 works great. I now keep a few in the shop.

I almost used my manual oil hand pump, but the tubes are so long, it gets messy when you're done. I thought the oil would be too thick to do it this way, so I was surprised when it actually worked really well.

@talesfromthehood5374 it didn't, I'm in the middle of changing the seals now. Video will be up in a week or two.

@@benwrenchin I figured it wouldn't but I had high hopes. Synthetic oil viscosity is much thinner which will slip through seals far easier than conventional oil.
Synthetic oils are great for heat reduction

@@benwrenchin now a product such as Lucas Stop Leak will temporarily bandage the leak because it swells the gasket/ rubber seal... However Lucas will eventually cause the gasket/seal to fail completely. Causing your drip/small leak to become a gushing mess.

Wouldn’t it be easier to drain out the old oil, or suck it out with a fluid extractor?

Certainly not easier, maybe a better idea than just topping it off though.

It's Ronnie, probably the most reliable of all sources
