Sorry to hear about your mechanical issues but welcome to the Owner operators world. Most dealerships labor is very expensive. Try Lube-Zone for your oil changes since they are an Oakley sponsor. Glad you're up and running now. Appreciate your time and be safe
What’s up? Been following your videos for a minute. Appreciate you making all of them and for the cool content. Question for you…… what size dump trailer is that? 40x102x66? The new one you pull. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback man! Just when I start to doubt my videos I’ll get a positive comment like this to motivate me to keep em comin. For your question, I actually have no idea. I know that’s not good as a driver. But I’ll find out first thing tomorrow and get back to you on it.
@@CruzTubedoubt your videos? Are you crazy? You have legit content. I’m looking to get my own tractor and pull end dump somewhere. Appreciate you checking on that for me. Stay safe out there
@@bradmyers3327 I called and asked about the dimensions. Our trailers are 102x40. They didn’t mention the height but I’ll measure later today to see if it’s 66. I’m betting it is. Also, if you are looking at getting your own tractor I can get you in contact with a recruiter here at Oakley. It will help me out with a potential bonus for the phone call. And they can get you prehire authorization to help with the loan process on purchasing a tractor
Man I'm glad this got past you. How's your experience with the Prostar? What speed you have Is it a 10 or 13 or 18? When I'm ready I'm gonna hit u up to join yall at Oakley
Overall it’s been good. It’s a 13 speed. I have the high performance engine so this little truck is a hoss! I like this truck but the bunk is a little small if I’m being honest. I’m basically traveling around with the bare minimum. But there are prostars with larger bunks. Yea for sure man, if you hit up Oakley now they can pre approve you and it will help with getting a loan since you will have the work lined up. Just tell them I referred you. It will help me out with a bonus if you get hired on.
@CruzTube That's good to hear I'm trying g to decide on a Cascadia or a Prostar. I'm Def gonna let them know about you as well I appreciate the love and I'm tuned in everytime you upload.
@CruzTube Anytime big dig I got you. You saying go with the prostar. I found one with 42 inch bunk and 13 speed with Wetkit and flattop 485hp. Can you have a tri axle sleeper if the sleeper is small to make up for the extra weight? I also found cascadia 126 with 565hp and 18 speed 42 inch bunk? Both have around 420k miles. I need small bunk for weight savings and want something more compact than a 72 inch but they are good to

It’s part of the game, I’m learning each time. I’m def going to check them out. Thanks buddy, you as well!

@@AnythingWithMotors I’d go with prostar out of those two choices. The Cummins is a good motor. Idk much about them DDwhatever they called lol.
@@AnythingWithMotors and thank you man. I appreciate it!

Next time drive the extra 20 miles and go to New Braunfels and tube the river 😂
I was in the area, heck it might have been there. I remember cutting through Seguin on SH 46 so it might have been New Braunfels
You need to run Pittsburgh power catalyst in your fuel it cleans your emissions it works guaranteed
I just found out about it. One of the guys in the international prostar groups told me about it. Thank!
