- We are officially back! Big apology to all my subscribers for the extended hiatus. It has been a busy Summer at Flat Fee.
Luckily we have all kinds of great lawn care footage to keep you entertained this Winter.
Here is the crew doing Fall Yard Cleanups on our Echo lake properties. We use the Echo backpack blowers to keep the leaves in front of the mower. The John Deere Z950R equipped with Ballard Ripper mower blades turns the leaves to a fine dust after a few passes.

Why not mulching them on the grass and leave them?
There are way too many to mulch here. A 3 inch layer of leaf mulch on the tiny bit of grass that borders Echo Lake would completely kill the existing patch of grass. Then we would be out of the weekly mow also.
How dirty does the back of the machine get
It gets pretty bad and requires periodic blowing off with the backpack blower. Luckily the leaf mulch doesn't stick under the mower deck like grass clippings do. Only had to wash the deck out once during Fall Cleanups.

Totally agree. Hoarding and County folk go hand in hand. This place is a scrappers paradise.
