Good job on the front brakes not to many know to start the line fittings frist. Can't wait for the next one . Rebuilding a tilt unit on an OMC out drive wish they were still available for some parts.
Coming along great brother 👌🏻 I see you don't put any silicone on the back side of the brake pads 🤔 I guess that's just us old timers, also are you going to squeeze the outboard brake pads ears onto the calipers after you bleed the brakes?
+Jo Daddy's Garage what I mean is if you look at the outside brake pad the bottom is seated in a slot in the bottom of the caliper the top of the pad had two tab's that go over the caliper they need to be knocked down tight or the outside pad will move when braking. I usually put a chisel in between the lower pad and the rotor tap it in a little that pushes the pad upward than tap the two tab's down tight and the pad won't move around after the brakes are bleed and have someone step on the brake pedal so the pad is tight against the rotor. You may think it's not moving because the pads and rotor have the grove in it but it will 😉👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦🇨🇦 just my two cents brother
Not sure I can be much help. Here is an ebay link. www.ebay.com/itm/1970-1971-1972-1973-FORD-MAVERICK-FRONT-DISC-BRAKE-CONVERSION-/181951874311?hash=item2a5d2d4507:m:mLy6RcYbvqgzW-2M2hmGpyw&vxp=mtr

Thanks for taking the time to post this video, gonna try this replacement this weekend
Looking forward to the next vid, hope its the rear brakes , doing my brakes soon.
It will be the rear brakes.
very useful info., especially explaining why. Keep up the great videos. Thanks
Just as info: SS Brake rear drums are wider than those for a small block. Prrt numbers in video are for a 350. Hope this helps and saves an issue.
excellent video... thanks!!!
Great job on this video!
Nice video sir
THANK YOU...for sharing.
Yes sir
Awesome. Hanks for the video and tips. What type of brake fluid do you recommend or use on this chevellle.
Standard dot 3. But if you're flushing out the whole system you can go with synthetic. Just don't mix them.
Awesome! Thank you!

Yeah, they didn't use silicone at the factory... Squeeze the outboard pad ears? Not sure what you mean there...

Awesome video! Do you happen to know how tall your valve covers are?
Sorry, I do not.
Where can I buy a brake booster and master cylinder together for a 1975 Corvette L 82
Sorry, I don't know.
Where's the proportion valve?
Built into the combination valve from the factory.
Did you use the upper or lower hole on the pedal for the booster.
I don't recall. It had a power booster installed previously, so I repeated the install.
What was the length of the rod you measured?
I don't remember.
So you didn’t use a proportioning valve? Do you not need it?
Not with a factory style system. They come with a combination valve, which has the proportioning valve built in.
Ooooh I see, okay. Thank you. Your videos are awesome by the way. They’ve helped me understand how to do certain things better.
How long does it take to change a break booster on a chevelle
It only took an hour or two. Here's a video I did on one: ruclips.net/video/O07louredd4/видео.html
