My dad was a Pharmacist he had the knowledge, he told patients with conjestion probs to get down on their hands and knees before coughing. It made getting muchous out easier and lasted longer.
Wow this is so true. I usually sit on a chair and bend over while coughing and it really works. I'll try your father's suggestion next time I have a cough/cold, thanks. 👍
Down dog and rest your head on a pillow. Good one. Also, if very weak, lay across your bed with your upper body hanging off. If you have help, ask them to cup their hands and pat, firmly but not hard over your lungs, not your heart for 5 minutes on back & sides. This only helps if the mucus is thin enough to cough out. Especially for the rona virus, so thin it out with an expectorant first and humidify your air. Then do huffing and coughing. Really helps get stuck stuff out. Don't lay around. Make yourself get up and do a 3 minute walk around the house. It shakes loose thick mucus, so do it every couple of hours, huff and cough. If your throat or sinuses are sore, the infection needs to be stopped there before the post nasal drip makes it to your lungs. You can use Betadine 10% solution to kill germs and viruses. First thin it down with distilled water. The strength should be 1 part Betadine to 10 parts distilled water. Got no distilled water? Boil tap water and let it cool. Keep the solution in a very clean jar with a lid. Use a dropper and drip 3-4 drops into each nostril. Gently sniff in and wait. Everywhere it touches it's killing and healing. 3 minutes later, blow it out, then gargle your throat with some. After brushing your teeth swish your mouth with it. Do this every 4 waking hours and half way through the nights. In 24 hours itll be 50% better, but keep going. It's ultimately going to protect your lungs. Anywhere the virus filled mucus touches irritates the tissue. Faces break out from nasal drainage. Wash skin and apply the solution to affected area.
Old fashion remedy, 1 cup peppermint tea with 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1oz lemon juice, Teaspoon to tbsp honey as desired and 1 oz olive oil, if extra thick phlem add up,to. 1/2 tsp cayenne
I grew up gargling with salt water all these old remedies coming out is new to many now ,but this is the way it was done back then. So the old ways are better no doubt. I was born in "1953" raised on farm remember many remedies that were used every day just didn't go to the doctor for everything, the way it was.
From my allergist to deal with chronic sinus infections: 2 cups warm distilled water 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 3 to 4 drops of baby shampoo (YES baby shampoo) Squirt mixture in sinuses using a baby ball syringe. Close off throat by holding the beginning of “k” sound. Gargle with the last little bit. I haven’t had a sinus infection in three years.
Huff coughing is also known as cascade coughing. Drink water, it thins your mucous immediately. Drink lemon water in morning or gargle with baking soda and water. Ive vomited from too much phlegm in throat -- also it depends on what Ive eaten the night before -- too much carbs or sugar compunds this.
A chiropractor told me 40 years ago, to help get rid of mucus is to quit drinking milk for a while because it thickens up the secretion and also room temperature water and not ice cold water.

One classic remedy missed out here is inhaling steam....you have evoperators in market which makes it easy. It's 100% effective and I owe it to steaming & fresh lemon juice to survive the covid19 period without a scratch.tq🙏
I have been living with chronic of irritating cough associated phlegm and mucus. I am due for operation on my hernia but been delayed for years because I need to cure the irritating cough before being operated as it may affect the stitched post operation. I thankful for vedio.
I make a fresh Honey, Lemon and Ginger drink every morning that seems to do the trick, I can't remember the last time I was ill. Tea tree oil is good in a steamy bath too if you're stuffy or feel like you're getting a cold.
We Filipinos do the SUOB. just inhale the steam from boiled water with salt. You can put herbal plants too like oregano. Best if you're covered with towel or blanket so the steam or vapor won't escape. It loosens the sticky phlegm in your airways
Elderberry and aloe vera are two fruits that have the benefits of vitamins to breakup mucous and phlegmn. A hot toddy which consists of honey, lemon, sugar, and whiskey gets rid of this ailment. A teaspoon of castor oil with a teaspoon of sugar breaks up this discomfort.
Navage Pas mucus breaks up mucuous in your nasal passages. Drinking hot liquids helps to break up phlegm. Vaporizers, dehumidefyers and hot steams are essential to loosen up phlegm, allergies and other irritants in your body, throat 'n nose

Wonderful video. Please add to make inhalation with eucalyptus oil or any part of this tree. This is what we did since childhood and really helps (I'm 75 now) Thank you for all the information, Greetings from Accra, Ghana, Africa del Oeste.
I found honey to be helpful. Just drip a few drops of pure honey onto the back of your throat directly (while lying down with mouth wide open). It gets rid of those itchy feeling at the back of the throat and is soothing.
I find the following works if I'm coughing because of congestion: sit on a chair, bend over so that my head is level with my torso and the coughing will stop. I reasoned that this stops the mucus in my throat from draining into my lungs. If you do this on the toilet, it's a convenient place to spit. For some reason it's important that your head is facing down, not up, if you try this. In other words, lying on my back doesn't help. If the mucus is close to unsticking, lift yourself a few inches above the chair and suddenly come down forcefully. Sometimes this has the effect of jarring the mucus loose so that it can be expectorated. Acidic drinks such as lemonade (low pH) seem to aggravate this excess mucus condition. An alternative to salt is sodium bicarbonate, baking soda. This also helps if you have GERD.
I quit all sugars, all dairy, all carbs, and all oils except coconut, olive, and avocado. In other words, Keto without the dairy. Now in my 70s, I've never felt better. No congestion, no colds, no flu. Edit one year later: Not long after writing the above, I went a step further and now eat only animal products. Mostly beef, butter, bacon, and eggs. The Carnivore diet. Massive improvement in my health when I eliminated the fruits and veges too. I love this way of eating.
I am right there with you Fred. No dairy, no sugar. 67 years old. Feels so good to wake up daily with no inflammation. Coconut oil and Olive oil are good for glowing skin also.
@@glennnichols4220 ~~ yes the body needs carbs - but not refined or processed carbs - processed sugars - sucrose - high fructose corn syrup - this gunk is added to so many foods & drinks and its why the USA has such an obesity epidemic - and so many major health problems that go along with being so overweight.
Very well done, son. I'm a nurse(retired now) for over 37 yrs. As a long time smoker, not weed, cigs, I developed asthma that went into COPD. I no longer smoke, but I do vape, and I know, still bad. But, I have much less mucous giving up cigs...and I will stop vaping, in time. I am going thru a hell load of stress, and that too causes mucous. As an autoimmune sufferer, Crohns, I will always have issues that immune suppressants go thru. GERD also causes excess mucous in the esophagus, so meds needed. A small humidifier in bedroom helps, pillows to keep head elevated( mentioned) and DONOTUSE nasal sprays unless saline. I was truly addicted to them and couldn't breathe without using several times a day, which permanently inflamed my nasal passages. Just STOP. An old remedy of ginger, lemon is an 3xpwctorant if you can't tolerate spices. Cook ginger in water, let it sit, add lemon and a touch of honey. Drink warm. Bottle in a glass jar, covered. Heat to use. Lasts about 3 days in fridge. Good luck to all❤️
Sicily, did u suffer when you stopped nasals sprays.I tried to stop nasal sprays and I can't breath. How long did you take to feel good without using them. O God! My nose feels bad without them. Blessings!
1.. Gargle warm salt water. 2. Huff cough. 3. Drink plenty of fluids. 4. Keep your head elevated, especially while sleeping. 5. Hot bath or shower. (Steam.) 6. Keep allergies under control. 7. Avoid Irritants (pollution, fragrances...) 8. Eat foods that are good for the respiratory system. 9. Use eucalyptus oil. 10. Take the right medications.
One of the most effective solutions for me has been to use a nasal rinse. I have found that keeping my sinus' clear has reduced the amount of post-nasal drip, alleviating that feeling of phlegm in my throat and reduced the amount of mucus I have been coughing up. Before I began using a nasal rinse regularly, I frequently felt like I was choking on mucus and phlegm, and I even had an episode where it completely blocked my airway. I needed emergency treatment to save my life! Also, at least once a year, I have gotten bronchitis with a loud, painful cough that lasted weeks at a time. Since I have started using a nasal rinse, I have not come down with bronchitis, and I no longer suffer from the feeling of constantly having phlegm or mucus in the back of my throat.
@@ShopandMorewithKimberlyNSantos I use the saline spray and also the force saline spray. All similar. And if super bad, will use the nell med rinse but need to make sure you use distilled water with the packages and drain it out completely.
Salt, hot steam breathing (vick vapor rub optional), hot tea, & Citrus like lemon lime orange and vitamins. Avoid sitting & laying positions that have you leaning back or on your back. Lean forward! This is advice for corona sick also!
i hear alot about oranges, there vitamin c powerhouse and good for u love the peels oof i make peel powder but i also hear the orange can make mucus and i do feel it after i eat them uhh weird
I suffer with nasal problems my whole lif. I just bough5 a navage system and it works great. You can actually see all of the mucus and other stuff that comes out of your nasal cavity. I recommend it strongly.
I started using one this spring during allergy season. For the first time in my life I was able to function normally and not once did I have a allergy attack.
I agree! I just use a Saline nasal spray bottle from walmart and clean out mucus in my nose, which greatly helps it from dripping into throat and chest. Has changed my life, no more sinus infections and no more blocked sinuses.
@@centsiblecooking the Navage not only shoots the saline into your sinuses it sucks all the bad stuff out. It will clean you out like you wouldn’t believe.
CPAP is an irritant to the lungs causing tons of mucus in lungs. Medical community won't ever tell you this though. The equipment is a cash cow for them. Some of you now know whats been causing that chronic cough. I've ordered a mandibular adjustment device from the dentist for the OSA. Hope this helps someone!
I’m So glad I came across your post. I use the CPAP machine and cough sooo much. My pulmonologist has said I have the Covid cough. But I always wonder about the Cpap machine. I also feel like I get bloated from it. What do you think? Also have Gerd. Many thanks 💐
@@kcf3278 MAD device wasn't quite enough for my severe OSA. Using a "cheap" Resvent chinese model that completely blows away the Resmeds with the airtight efficient water chamber design. About $500 out of pocket/HSA. The airmini with a brease humidifier sponge type attachment (no water) seems to be easier on my lungs than the Resmed 9 auto I used to use as well. I use that for travel but I've been debating on using it everyday. Nasal saline spray helps with that. Definitely stay away from so clean and ozone cleaners. That definitely degraded the foam in my ResMed 9 and caused more lung irritation and other problems. Good luck man!
Some meds cause a post nasal drip. Or more complicated, the combination of some meds causes it and not by themselves would do it! Only when taken with certain others. Doctors don't have much data on this. Make sure you have no black mold lurking in your house. When mine get bad, I use a SinuPulse machine and make a saline flush using distilled water heated until boiling in the microwave and then add a packet of buffered salt made for this. I let it cool but still be warm enough to tolerate and to loosen everything and flush it out. This has been the best and most effective solution for me! Nothing to fear. I have never choked or had any adverse problems. Just relief and results.
I had been gargling with salt water for over a year and things were in control... But that gradually resulted in hurting the throat and causing blisters ...though inhalation of steam works wonders
if you are gargling with salt water, use a bit of it to breathe in through the nose. The best method it to get a neti-pot, but you can just put a little on your hand and breath it in. This loosens congestion quite well. You can get a neti pot at most drug stores... and walmart.
Careful! A woman died using a Netipot because the water wasn't distilled. I actually stopped using mine after that news a couple years ago. I am very happy with Respiractin liquid and their Deep Lung Cleanse product.
@@chamonix2602 I've been using my neti pot twice a day for almost 10 years now. I use boiled water, you have to let it cool obviously. Sometimes I use distilled water. Never spring water and never tap water. Add 1/2 tsp of sea salt, allow it to dissolve. Before I found the neti pot, I woke up every morning coughing up phlegm for a good 10 minutes. Every winter I get post nasal drip. It hasn't gone away completely, however, the neti pot has made my life much more manageable. It's improved my winter post nasal drip by a good 90%. I used to cough all day, talking was difficult without constantly coughing, it was one of those old lady smokers type of coughs. Yep. Never giving up my neti pot. FYI, it's an ancient East Indian device. The yogis and gurus in India have been using it for thousands of years.
Be careful. I know someone who used a neti pot and then got a severe sinus infection because it got rid of the good bacteria and made the sinuses more vulnerable to infection.
Probably not get a answer from you or anyone buti I just knew I had to trying to get you to tell someone anyone that would help me please thankyou for listening to me
For coughs & allergies. I told my roommate - who has COPD & asthma - about them, as her cough had been terrible for 3 weeks - allergy season. She tried 1 thing. - She ate 1/4 cup pineapple. Her cough was gone & I mentioned that to her after 2 hours. And she was amazed that the coughing had stopped! Her dry cough had been replaced by a productive cough that lasts about an hour then she's good for the rest of the day. She still had itchy eyes & ears. I told her to try a pinch (1/8th teaspoon) of himalayan salt on her tongue, (it's anti-inflammatory). The itching stopped in about an hour. On bad allergy days she'll do this twice a day but usually once A day is enough. She hasn't needed her rescue inhaler or allergy pills in over 9 weeks now! And no longer needs neti pot! She told me the other day that she hasn't used her regular inhaler for 3 days & her asthma & allergies remained controlled by using Himalayan & pineapple. Bonus is that her knee pain is gone by using pineapple.
It’s the huffing method that I’ve found to be the most effective way to get the phlegm out of my lungs, filling a bowl with hot water producing hot vapour also helps to loosen the mucus and if you put a little dollop of vic into it it also helps
My mom used to dowse me with Vicks as a child, then wrap me up in an old tee shirt and kept me warm. Worked every time. The smell of Vicks is a comfort smell now in my old age. 😁
During Covid, I was fortunate that I could tele-commute from my small apartment. Shortly after I started working from home, I found that I was often conjested, especially right after awakening. Was expecting to be diagnosed with Covid, but tested negative. It took me a while to sort things out and found the culprit was a stationary air freshener I placed in my bedroom. After removing, things improved gradually. But it took a good two months before things completely cleared up.
Dear never use pcr tests they are not for to test Covid. The Nobel Price is dead just few days where that man Muellis wants say to the world they are for the use to discover covid19 it s a misuse which count false positives from healthy people and falsely say you asymptomatic.
I just ordered serrapeptase and it cleared my constant hocking up phlem overnight. It’s really strong though, and the bottle advises not to take it for more than 30 days unless directed explicitly by a doctor.
Last two years, shortly after eating cooked onion, green onions and ginger, my lungs are congested, start coughing up phlegm for hours. Maybe I am allergic to them. 😖😖😤😤
I'm allergic to any kind of onions..and that is exactly what one of the symptoms I have. Take an antihistamine the next time you have this reaction and if in 20-25 minutes ( the time it usually takes for a pill to dissolve and start working) it starts to go away.. you're probably allergic to onions. Garlic and asparagus are also in the lily family, along with all the other allium - chives, green onions, leeks and swiss chard. Watch out for processed food items with dried onions and onion powder as well - ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, curry powder, most spice mixes, salad dressing, flavoured potato chips, - it's a very long list!!
I can truely believe and appreciate all that's been pointed out here as I have tried and experienced mostly all that has been said here and going to a steam room every day is something that should be made more accessible to the public THANK YOU
A saline nasal rinse works very well for me. You can use a neti pot for this but I prefer using the squeeze bottle that is sold at pharmacies for this purpose.
@@angelgone6542 You have to go to the next stage from your half-trained idiot dentist and go to a specialist dental hospital who have the necessary equipment to open up the root canals and flush them out properly.

When I get congested, I have my husband "beat" my back, like burping a baby only harder. This helps break up the buildup in my lungs. They used to do this in the hospital when you had pneumonia, plus they came in every couple of hours to change your position. Worked every time! Why have we lost this sensible way to treat congestion in the lungs?
This is a method to myself being taught by my local physical therapist in training me to clear my son’s lungs from his asthma and allergies to suffering from frequent pneumonia attacks and they use this for cystic fibrosis patients. You use a folded hand towel in using both hands in starting on the front chest and in one side of the chest to quickly patting the chest using the towel to reduce the pain in vibration in working the mucus up to causing the cough reflex. You doing this on the other lung and then you do the same thing on the back of your patients. Sharp quick slapping or using the side of your hands in chopping motions in starting at the lower chest area and working upwards . They can be lying down to administer the pummel affect or sitting, and depending on the infection and mucus to how many times a day they require pummelling to bring up the mucus. They will feel like they need to cough up mucus in using tissues or plastic cup and disposable. I was taught to use a nebuliser and peak flow meter for seeing the lungs function without needing to call the doctors to reduce their hospital admission. Regular charts on peak flow of warning of a underlying infection in being able to stop the invisible virus before it takes hold. Beauty products like facials sauna bath from local supermarkets to inhale steam and dissolve in water salt water steam inhaled and cleaning the lungs. You probably need to breathe slowly through your nose and exhale out your mouth to clean your sinuses in nature in using water and salt for purification.
Thanks for such a helpful video. I already know the value of a salt nose wash but glad to know there are more remedies to try. I am on antibiotics (yet again!) because of inflammation in the top of my lung/ bottom of the throat. My swallowing isn’t too good since I had my tonsils out and I have frequent post-nasal drip. It’s such a nuisance and makes me feel awful. So glad of your helpful advice and so much help in the comments too!
Over the years I found that drinking 8 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice cuts right through all of the phlegm in the back of my throat. Now I am taking medications that strongly recommend no grapefruit, so I am searching for something that will work as well when I have a cold. I am hoping that one of your recommendations will work for me.
Thanks for these tips, I have suffered with post-nasal drip and difficulty with thick mucus all my life. A couple of years ago I read about Himalayan salt pipes, they are quite inexpensive so I bought one and it helps a lot. I have to say my brother also bought one and didn't get a lot of benefit, he suffers with chronic bronchitis. I think he gave up too soon as I used mine every night for about 15 minutes and he used his just a couple of times. I used the 5 second breath in, 5 second hold and 5 second breath out technique so found the experience relaxing as well. For me it loosens up the knotty feeling in the throat, and also helps me shift it when I cough.
I found them totally useless -I even bought a humongous pink Himalayan salt lamp which cost me about $25O and was totally useless.I went to a salt room therapy place in my home city and it was totally useless as well.Lung doctor specialist told me that there is zero evidence that salt does anything for lungs-he said that the misconception comes from salt mines in Poland where people with certain allergies like pollen allergies resort to for relief and find it works a bit -it's merely because the allergens like pollen that they suffer from are not present deep down in a mine -it's not the salt.
@@kaloarepo288 I think that you have to try using these things more than once. It has a cumulative effect. The salt thins the mucus and also disinfects. I am not sure if salt lamps are any good. I use a salt pipe (inhaler) and they cost about £13. If you look on Amazon you will see thousands of reviews so can see what other people think. People did not live in the salt mines, so if they had allergies they would be effected by the pollen when they got outside.
Thank you very much for the informative video. It certainly is useful for me as I have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis and asthma and struggle a lot with mucus problems and shortness of breath. Thank you once again for sharing the information. Shalom.
Thank you much for this informative video. You are right on track with proactive measures to Reid the body of mucus and phlegm accumulation especially from allergies. I do most of the recommended advice. I also in addition to gargling salt water I use the Neti pot with warm salty water as well to flush out the nasal cavity. When I had covid the phlegm in my lungs was so hard and sticky it would occasionally block my airway and there were a few times I almost went to the ER. I had to pound on my chest while my husband pounded my upper back and it took an entire minute before I could breath again. I had this problem in the late 60's to early '70's in Southern California that I felt was due to all the air pollution, and it didn't help that I ran Cross Country and track in high school. It wasn't until I 'joined' the Army that it went away. 4 months in the Army I had a major 'expectorant' episode which grossed out some of the guys, but after that, it never came back. I guess the good air of Missouri and Indiana did that for me.

The reason mucus builds up is because the person is dehydrated. When people don't drink enough water, it triggers a function in the brain, which tries to conserve water. The lungs are composed of around 90% water and because most of a person's water loss happens when they exhale, the brain tries to slow the loss by reducing the amount of water going to the lungs. For some people, this results in an asthma attack. Drinking a glass of water and then dissolving a pinch of salt on the tongue is an effective way of handling an asthma attack. To keep the lungs from completely drying out, mucous forms to keep the tissues moist. Salt (unprocessed sea salt) breaks up mucus and congestion. Instead of gargling with salt water (which only minimally helps), a pinch of sea salt (approx 1/8 tsp) should be dissolved on the tongue followed by 16 oz of water. Repeat if necessary.
Wow, I cannot stand the taste of water so I rarely drink it. And I also have asthma. I think you might have explained something for me. Also, I have noticed when I eat salted plums with sea salt (Chinese Candy) my congestion disappeared but I never made the connection until now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
After getting the Moderna vaccine I have had problems with muccas ever since. The first dose it started and then went away, after the 2nd dose it came back and has not stopped since ..ugh so frustrating

From my allergist to deal with chronic sinus infections:
2 cups warm distilled water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 to 4 drops of baby shampoo (YES baby shampoo)
Squirt mixture in sinuses using a baby ball syringe. Close off throat by holding the beginning of “k” sound. Gargle with the last little bit. I haven’t had a sinus infection in three years.
Why baby shampoo ?

FYI - I believe what you've described is referred to as 'percussions'.
Do you reckon this same method could be used for Covid 19?

@Phnym Bleuz Yep. It sucks but you can correct it with eliminating foods that trigger it. For me it was carbs. I am 100% certain of it.
Good video thanks
Well since last sat ive had terrble cough had medicine biotics was so sore my ribs ache my god just gargled the salt ten mins ago not coughed yet which is a miracle has the cough and plegm been relentlace thank you
Thanks for posting such great and useful information
Thank you. Very well explained
Take NAC a cysteine . Look it up. Strong anti oxidation effect and thins mucus .
Cough relieve within 2 minutes. 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar & mix with a glass of water. Works like magic.
When I had covid the phlegm in my lungs was so hard and sticky it would occasionally block my airway and there were a few times I almost went to the ER. I had to pound on my chest while my husband pounded my upper back and it took an entire minute before I could breath again. I got through it by using a heating pad on my chest, using my first to pound the crap in my chest loose, and the thing that helped the most was the water. It doesn't hurt to get some Mucinex if you can stomach it
robutussin honey really helped my congestion due to covid. asprin helped thin it out some too
I bought a vibrator for use on my chest. Works wonders to help loosen mucus in my bronchial tubes. I also use a heating pad. I had Covid too but it settled in my bronchial tubes not my lungs. Allergies that never really bothered me are big problems now. Took a box fan and taped a filter to it for HVAC systems. Wa surprised how much dust a HEPA filter on a fan got out of the air in my house. Have to take a wet towel and "bath" my cats every week now too. It all helped me.
@@nancykraus5127 OMG! Ik!!! I'm allergic to fur babies also. Mine have both passed over the past few years and I have a massive hole In my heart that needs filled. But I did notice that even after a few deep cleanings. I also use a fan while I sleep but my guy keeps it very clean for me. Nonetheless I'm still finding a hair every now and then and I'm still having to clean my nose out with my nettie pot once in a while. It's definitely made a significant difference but between you and me I would gladly suffer with sinusitis for the rest of my life to have another dog and cat but I want to make sure i do my homework first. I managed to figure out that my fav cats, the Balinese, have been the perfect cat for me all along. I've had 3'so far and they have the best personality plus ....cuteness overload!! My problem is that it's the only breed I'm considering but I can't find anything in my area. I'm not even worried about getting a purebred. As long as it looks and behaves like one that's enough for me. I also want a husky really really bad or at least something very similar but I've still got homework to do before that will happen. I think that with the right pets, a clean home, and an ass load of Benadryl we could coexist. But for the life of me I cannot believe I didn't think of the vibration technique!! My late cousin had CF and had that clapper vest. I've been a pack a day smoker for over 40 years now and that thing kicked so much phlegm when I used it I was breathing so easy I'd swear I'd quit smoking a decade ago. Ty gf! Best advice for me right now!! 🥰 Tysm for reminding me!
@@daviddowns7552 Thank you as well David! I used to give honey to my kids for sore throat all the time but now that they've grown up I'd forgotten about that, too. Funny how you'll think of these things right off the bat when your kids are sick but when it's for yourself....lol! 😉 Thanx hun! 😘
@@BongfullyAccused look online for a Balinese rescue. They often are willing to get cats across the country if people are willing to help cover the cost.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION. GREAT TOPIC.
I had a persistent cough with mucus. And I took honey and lemon juice and it went away after months
Months? Get rid in 3-5 days
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Take serapeptase, zinc, NAC, D3, gargle with salt, chopped up garlic clove with honey and vitamin C. Cheers.
why serrapeptase?
@@debbiekostiuk8825 It breaks up the mucus.
@@Agapy8888 Thankyou I knew it eats up abnormal protein
@@debbiekostiuk8825 I found out about it from Dr John Gray 14 years ago. I am never without it. It melts keloids, ovarian cysts, heals scars and the best part it’s antiviral. I also listen to dr William Wong on his zymessence. In 2004 he did a lecture on enzymes. I’m sorry I don’t have the link. It’s on yt. Good listening. It’s about an hour long. Dr Eric Berg and Dr Alan Mandel cover it on shorter clips.
WILL TRY THE salt Water Thank You
Yes it's great
I had this problem in the late 60's to early '70's in Southern California that I felt was due to all the air pollution, and it didn't help that I ran Cross Country and track in high school. It wasn't until I 'joined' the Army that it went away. 4 months in the Army I had a major 'expectorant' episode which grossed out some of the guys, but after that, it never came back. I guess the good air of Missouri and Indiana did that for me.
Did you cough up a bunch of nasty impacted phlegm?
@@dindog22 yes I did. Thankfully for me the air quality made a huge improvement after I returned. It helped a lot to spend time in both Washington state and Southern Bavaria for the remainder of my time in the Army. No pollution of any consequence for 3 years.
I wonder if it is because of the very dry climate in So. Cal.?
Everyone in our unit had a major “expectorant episode” shortly after receiving a series of shots. We all figured it was caused by something they shot us up with.
I live in Salt Lake City, which has some of the worst air quality in the nation because of our inversions. You can taste the air when it's at its worst! I get really bad phlegm that coincides with the air quality. I can't wait to get out of this city!
Today aug.1st yesterday July 31st is first time seeing this. I really feel your pain. I see I'm 3 months late. Immediately raised my hands to the TV and asking God to give you a complete healing of this disease. I'm 77 and my could of ended January 1967. If it would have 3 children would not be here along with 10 grandchildren. My point is that he can take a wrong and make it right. Never. Give up hope.
My prayers go out to you and your family. I pray you make it to 💯. God loves you and so does your followers and so do i.
Thank you kind sir
@@bradcasper4823 - Hope it works for you.
Thanks 👍🏼
Thank you
Wow, I cannot stand the taste of water so I rarely drink it. And I also have asthma. I think you might have explained something for me. Also, I have noticed when I eat salted plums with sea salt (Chinese Candy) my congestion disappeared but I never made the connection until now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you I'm going to try it 🙏🙏
After getting the Moderna vaccine I have had problems with muccas ever since. The first dose it started and then went away, after the 2nd dose it came back and has not stopped since ..ugh so frustrating
I never thought about that but same here! Never had problems before,
gr8 info thx!
I have Sarcoidosis which in my case is an enlarged lymph node next to my lung. Needless to say, I get flare ups from time to time that cause me to produce quite a bit of mucus. I found what works for me is a combination of Fenugreek, Mullein and Cayenne Pepper either in tea or pill form. Saline Solution spray also helps, especially before bed. I also a vegetarian, so I don't do dairy, too much sugar or soda pop.
The wheat they make bread from has very bad gluten that causes a lot of mucus. Have you thought of that?
Small amounts of wasabi help me and I now use cayenne pepper in more cooking.
I have a very nasty cough with lots of mucus for a week now. It was so bad my daughter brought her Nebulizer to me & that made a huge difference. However I am definitely going to try your suggestion on my knees of the floor.
try ginger tea
