Kickflip over to wall ride is insane, evan really one of the most underrated dudes out there
Evan Smith is objectively one of the best skaters in the world. Anyone who disagrees with that knows nothing about skating. Idk about underrated bc anyone thinking Evan isn't one of the most talented, rawest skaters ever is a kook and deserves to be ridiculed lol 😅
These Spot History's are ya'lls bread and butter
I love the spot history series. It really reminds me of something I'd see on MTV or Spike in the mid 2000s. Good shit Dern Bros.
It's probably the best active skating series on youtube rn and their channel blowing up this past year or so is a testament to it. Even the shorter videos covering the not-as-famous spots are wonderful, wish they'd never end sometimes lol
@@brycenall4410 for real
Agreed
Yup. This is awesome 😎
That miley shirt goes hard
Next is a Taylor Swift Shirt
I filmed Eric Kunmann’s front blunt to fakie. Hes the same person who 360 flipped the love park gap. Both tricks are in his something wild part (you can watch it on RUclips) thanks for sharing the clips! Chris Mentlik, Eric, Matt bullinger and Chance are all homies from the same area as myself.
@@curroofficial9156 wow his full part was sick. Did he ever go pro? His level of skating definitely qualified.
@@tylerriggs95 unfortunately not. We made the video in 2007-2009 and at the time it was much harder to get noticed. He did get stuff from fallen and zero but that was flow. But it is pretty crazy how good he was that long ago. He was ahead of his time for sure.
@@curroofficial9156 ah, that’s too bad. He seemed like a good fit for Zero. Even had the Cole bandana look down haha.
There should be a likelihood of getting kicked out scale for these locations. Looks like nobody would care if you skated this spot.
Million dollar idear. Pay the man
you have a higher likely hood of getting robbed and stabbed here than kicked out. Never relax at this spot fr
@@anthonysmalawipredators8794 it's a good idear
Lol exactly these
Dudes rolled up with their newborn and lady? Not the type of place anyone goes except for a quick session and then roll out. Not even exactly sure why they chose this spot out of all of Philly@@gordonhuskin7337
@@gordonhuskin7337ya that place looks like it’s in the middle of the hood
As a PA skater my whole life, the run up/sidewalk/cracks without bond is the most typical everyday spots we have in PA for the most part especially with the road being dead with 0 traffic and a sketchy area LOL. Banger spot history as always homies
Kanaan got a haircut!
Shouting out all the skatology homies!!! So sick.
Destin is killin it on these commercials yall, its not easy doing that type shit without training. Plus you guys got natural bros chemistry, I hope this shit keeps blowin up for real!
Agreed! Mega talent! This is like the best prime time tv show ever! So entertaining! Wish it came out daily!! I’m so addicted to the Dern Bros channel! Can’t get e-nuff!
Hey chief, let’s go ahead and make kanaan a professional skater already. He’s waited long enough. Hail to the chief. Let’s go zero.
back smith is insane on the inside. Seeing you standing next to it really shows how narrow it is. We need a flick in on the inside!
Honestly so sick that Kanaan got that 50 in the rain. Sick video
Amazing to see a spot history in our home state🔥
No warm up 50-50 in the rain is absolutely nuts, another killer vid legends !!
That expressionless OK at 9:14 made me burst out laughing 😂
😂
Oh baby the derns are cookin!
Video quality has gone up so much since this series started! You guys are killing it❤
Evan Smith trick does not sound possible until you see it..... what a legend!!
bro the aura ad read was actually mad entertaining. all the angles and activities. lmfao
but in all realness this rail looks so butter. no wonder its been slaughtered.
It's a scam.
Legit fo sur!
Looks like a typical Philly spot with all the garbage on the ground, what a dump!
damn the derns got an escalade? yall are ballin
So sick you got that in the rain
Pre-liking and commenting as i throw this in my watch later for after work.
🫡
Hype you still skated when it started raining. 🤘🏻
Ishods nollie flip back lip just got rewound like 7 times. Good show, as always, boys!
And on the 7th day Florida gave us the Dern Bro’s 🤘🏼 😂
Bams house took me back to the best years I never knew I’d be missing so much 😔
I love the series… but when are y’all gonna hit up Wallenberg?? (Featuring Chris Cole obviously 😛)
As a bitter old dude who hates 99.9% of RUclips skate content I can honestly say you and gifted hater are changing my mind on the platform
This is probably one of the first times I aint fast forward through an ad lol another banger my G's
In Philly we call this the crackhead rail
yeah that area looks hood af
It's been such an amazing journey watching your channel grow since just below 10k subs and now you're getting good sponsors for your videos get that bread well deserved
Usually ads annoy me but I'm hyped to see you guys doing them now haha, get that money!
Keep doing these I wanna see the Dern bros hit 1 million subscribers!!!!
GOATED status for this channel BOIS!!
your channel reminds me of the death row final meal, instead of rating the greatest meal of all time but the greatest spots of all time. theres so many spots i see in skate movies never knowing the location but this channel is very insightful to spots.
NYC courthouse is in original TMNT and Martins Place is in Matrix
genuinely thank u for making the ad read entertaining it makes a big difference
Hey baby get in here Dern bros just uploaded
Z E R O F O R E V E R !
Thank you guys for making me want to skate again I’m sure I’ll be as good as I want to be over time but you guys inspire me to get to that level
i love this series. its fun to dissect the tricks in .75 PB speed when you guys do one of these
50% rules as well
it’s funny that Miley practically covered NIN in Black Mirror and someone made that shirt
You guys should do a London England trip and cover south bank (I know it’s a skatepark but it would make for a heck of a video) and also can hit a bunch of the iconic spots and parks. Would make for an awesome series of videos!
British skate park? Lame
Missed you boys! Thanks for the back to back vids ❤
Love you guys and love this series! Thanks for all the info and the sick vids ❤
sickkkkkk
could you do a spot history of the downtown L A triple set
That kick flip wall ride is insane!!!
“…Ok” - Kennan hahaha
Feel like he’d try it…
Then it starts raining.
Keenan is so sick.
Love the spot history videos! Keep killing it guys :) ❤
Finally a spot yall covered with a handful of NBDs I could pull off myself 😎🙌
Great day talking History! 🎉
Yes it was indeed!!
Yo Dest I liked you how you kept the ad interesting with the scene changes. well played.
Hell yeah! I just love these spot history videos! 🤩 And I love handrail videos too so this is double fun for me! 😅 I click so goddamn fast when I see you guys post new video! 🤣
"I'm not warmed up at all" 😂 I would love to see more tricks but damn rain ruined it! 😅
You guys are banging out so much content. Love it.
50/50 in the rain on a round rail. Nice
Thanks for the hard work!
The amount of research for each of these videos must be crazy! No way you remember all the names and parts when looking for clips from these spots
that fakie 5-0 was insane! balanced it like it was a ledge
GoPro is so atmospheric like im there with you guys
I've been lied to, it's always sunny in philadelphia my ass.
Great show btw
Jordan Gesko is from my area in NJ, dude rips for real.
Do the Frost double set next! So many amazing tricks done over the years.
Back smith on the inside is pretty crazy
50/50 in the rain 🌧️
the miley cyrus shirt lol sick
Also best outro yet
I think peak culture is watching Don Vito Blabber talk on MTV in 2004!
Them dern bois are at it again!
I always wonder how they find all the tricks that are done on a spot. It’s very impressive.
That Nick Merlino nollie nosegrind clip was hard af
Finallyyyyyy been dyinggggg
What a dump. 👏🏼 Philly
Awesome vid! Wow, that school's architect unknowingly installed a skate park quality handrail in front of that school, what luck!
Good shiiiettt fellas another good'n !
Bra… everyone’s trick so
sick..but Zion is such an ATV!
Back smith on the inside is wild 😮
9 stair is the best size stair set
1:50 was he using a short board?
215 views in 25 minutes! They're going places.
Would love to see an FDR Spot history. If those walls could talk . . Keep on krushing it
I usually hate wall rides but that was so dope
Entertaining
gotta love the inclusion of repeat tricks
Who nollie krooked it?! I remember being there mad long ago and the guy from Focus Mag told me not to try it cause it was already ABD. Feel like driving there right now haha
yeaaah 🎉
Sick video as always! Also love the Miley shirt 😎🤙
sick 944
Sick
We need a @moose x Dern bros collab
Damn I live outside of Philly and I didn't know this was a spot. I want to try to front board it.
4:12 Sick 944 on cookie cutters?
Noice.
Hollywood 16 next!
hella good
I live 2 blocks away from this spot, wish I would’ve caught you guys there
How do you guys find and compile all the different footage?
Take a trip to NYC so maybe spots to cover there!
nice haircut bud!
It’s crazy any blunt slide that went down 20 most boards these days from the trucks to the nose are about 25 26 inches give or take, but I’ll say with blunt since your board is propped up you probably lose a few inches maybe 4 to 5 at mist so your nose or tail is really right there, bet every single one who did a blunt variation scrapped the wall when trying at least a few times, luckily it’s a fat round rail and you can really prop your board up, if it was square it wouldn’t happen, unless you have a 7.5 laying around, which who does anymore besides Dave Bushinsky lol
I live in Maryland and just started skating never knew there was a famous spot around me cool to hear
