My friend I have these sticks installed I haven't even done this step yet and I can already tell the difference these sticks are amazing and truly read no deadzone in game (sorry that game is fortnite but to let you know you 😅 yes they absolutely perform) I have the board connected via an extended connector and shielded they are BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY IMAGINED

I installed this mod in 07/08/2024. It takes me about 1.5 weeks to install this setup. Because i am new to soldering and i don't have the equipment, so it takes me this long to do.
First time to soldering beware as it requires time and patient to do. It has steps that need to be done right in order to work well.
Lucky, my controller works perfectly with this driver installed. It has circularity error on both sticks around 3~4%
My experience:
1. It takes some time to install the driver as the board require some bridging and wiring. Things are too small to install and require multiple times to apply solder like the middle pin of the hall effect sensor with bridging wire.
2. Need to make sure your soldering is very clean and no accidental connection to other connections.
3. No Step by step instruction in the box. Have to rely on the video (Though the video is very well explained)
4. The first step of removing the joystick is already an hard task without heat gun. Remove joystick by cutting off pins is a good option for soldering iron
5. You are given two pair of joystick. You are suppose to transfer the sensor from one pair to other.
6. There is still a micro jittering in the end. Not sure its my fault or joystick fault or accidental connection.
7. I recommend static mode than dynamic. It make life easier if you forgot about it. ( Centre Point Mode switching )
Good:
. It really works as advertise. I have 3~4% circularity error on both sticks
. Calibration works as the video shown. All mode A, B, S works. Turn off calibration works. Centre Point Mode switching works.
Bad:
. Its really difficult
. Still have a bit micro jittering

The links aren't active and other sellers such as Val Paev store and Gamers Zone store seem to be selling your item: the v5 driver boards and also sticks. The other sellers' image don't seem to use sticks that felt as nice as the ones you shipped.
Are you looking to sell again to UK, Europe, and other regions again? Your sticks and driver boards are fsntastic and I don't want to settle for what might be an inferior (plagiarised?) product by going to these other sellers.

Everything works besides the calibration on/off switch and the center point dynamic/static switch. Even mode B works, so I know the calibration board is reading the L/R3 button input. I dunno, it is what it is I guess.

I followed everything as on the video, I can only calibrate mode A.
When I want to go to S or B mode, I always end up in A mode.

I really like these calibration modes you made. But I wonder what stopping you from making a simple calibration process just like in Gulikit gamepads?

I've gone through calibration about 20 times now. I keep getting a 20% avg error. Is there a way to adjust the overflow on the corners because it maps out a perfect square. Has anyone had the same issue?

what if we aim the joystick to a red area of the circularity while the controller is connected, and then disconnect the controller, and then enter calibration, would that work?
Followed your installation video and calibration mode A doesn't work for the Y-axis on the left stick and not at all on the right stick
I did these on my Xbox wireless control. Both sticks are pretty centered and are responsive. The only issue I have is that the right joystick is not saving my center point. And it also won’t go into B or S mode on the right joy stick. Left joystick is fine and calibrates.
Sounds like something wrong with the joystick switch. Does it register the stick press on the computer?
@@TheLink05 I was able to resolve the issue talking to him through Ali express. I accidentally disabled calibration mode. He helped enable it again.

Jun, can you come up with an polling rate unlock for xbox controller? Polling rate makes an huge difference and its lock on xbox boards renders the xbox controller mostly useless, atleast for thsoe that take gaming seriously.

For me the S mode is not working. After calibration i always have approx. 20% i have tried at least 50 times and it is not working. All other modes are working fine. Does anynone knows what could be the problem?
Does the controller need to be completely reassembled for it to go into modes properly? I have it mostly assembled but i havent connected everything like the mic. When i try to go into calibration modes, it only lets me set one axis on one stick and the opposite axis on the other stick. The other respective axis on each stick sweeps normally rather than make step adjustments to center. Pushing the sticks down doesn't seem to change modes.
Installed this today for both joysticks on a DS5, but I cannot adjust overflow/maximum range in the X-Axis; the value is stuck in 1.000 and doesn't decrease at all. This is happening in both joysticks. All other functions work ok. Any idea of what could be wrong? any way to revert the PCB to factory defaults?
Hello, i can enter all modes including s mode for circularity but afer i turn the stick 3 to 5 times and save it, the sticks are not circular and are going to the edges and are not round like yours. Everything else is working - a mode and B mode. Any suggestion?
I've got the same issue. Everything works and saves correctly, but mode S doesn't seem to save anything. I spun the stick slow, fast, once and ten times, clicked once and multiple, the circularity doesn't seem to ever change.
Have you assembled the controller and then tried? My fault was that i did not assembled the controller ( top plate) and that was the problem for me

Hi, does it work with scuf reflex controller ps5?
When I play Halo my turning from left to right is so slow. This is the only game where it occurs. I tried changing my sens but that didn't help. I tested with a scuf controller with no hall effect joystick and it seems to turn normal. I have a ps4 controller with Blue hall effect joystick. Is there anyway I could have installed the thumbstick too tight?
Try Increasing your outer deadzone in halo.
But ultimately your problem is your stick isn't calibrated correctly which is preventing the look acceleration from kicking in. If you are using the board in the video follow the part where he calibrates the individual directions.
B mode isn’t working keeps putting me in a mode I press the stick down and go whatever direction still puts me in a mode

Yes, the calibration mode can be turned on and off, and the purpose of doing so is to prevent it from being triggered incorrectly.

If you switch off the calibration mode will it forget the circularity calibration you've done before?.
You did the circularity first, then you adjusted the edges.
When you switched off calibration first time the circularity calibration was completely off what it was before @11.47 to 12.20.
Is it supposed to lose all the calibration you've done previously?
In the video, I have clips. I actually calibrated it a few extra times, so it looks different.
It actually happened to me today while trying to fine tune.
If you switch off the calibration it loses all the calibration you've done previously.

Are you sure the setting is being reset? I think the effect from 11.47 to 12.20 occurred because the "Dynamic center point" mode was enabled. He connected the gamepad to the PC, holding the stick not in the center, the gamepad retained this position as the central one, which is why the center shifted to the side. And before 11.47, there was no such incorrect effect because tilting the stick during power-up caused entering calibration mode.

Hi, what do I do when I cannot adjust the X Axis back to lower levels? I can use all functions but X seems to be "stuck" at the maximum. Its on a DS5 using V5 Board. Thank you!

Calibration does not work.
I've installed this driver in hope to reduce circularity error.
My experience:
1. Bad: Very time consuming installation. I am an experienced electronics guy with more than 15 years of work. I have all the equipment I need. But even then the time invested does not match outcome.
2. Good: Truly solves stick drift.
3. Bad: Calibration does not works for the right joystick at all. The left joystick allows entering in mode A, mode S and mode B. In mode B left and bottom calibration directions does not have any effect. The right joystick allows calibration entering from time to time. My assumption is a bad firmware unable to handle sensor noise.
4. Bad: Circularity error on both sticks is about 20% even after multiple hours of calibration tries.
5. Good: Well in the end it lets me play again. Astro's playroom seems to be fine. Dead zones of joystick (e.g. circularity) can be percepted indeed.
Overall advice: Do not buy it and do not invest your time in it! Maybe some simple hall sticks would perform same.
Used controller is PS5 dual sense one.

Is there anyway you can offer a circular magnet with a hole in it (less noise more positions and higher accuracy from a different magnet shape)
I added shielding just to see if I would get a noise reduction and I do , it could simply be the cal board is faulty but it seems to ring and I cannot get it to cal other than the center point mode the other modes won't activate and are seemingly glitched left stick cal worked fine but now it's acting the same way have I shorted a line somewhere from the chip

When i go to the homepage to test my controller it doesnt look like that one you use. i dont have that circles to see what my controller does. there are only numbers from 1 to 0.001 or 0.04 to 1. what do i do wrong?
