You’re absolutely right about the good and bad on this one. The D+ shows need a serious reboot. So many wasted opportunities and messes that the films need to clean up now. There is also the ongoing problem of fridging (mostly) female characters for no good reason. WTF, Marvel???? 🤬 They need better writers/directors who know how to hit story beats. The last three episodes should have been 20 minutes longer and upped the intrigue. If they can’t do that, make it a film. After I saw Barbie last week, all I can think about is how Barbie is the movie She-Hulk should have been. It would have been worth waiting a year for the distribution rights to put out a film like that. Gerwig made many of the same points and did it succinctly. Marvel needs to stick to specials and feature films if they can’t learn from all these misfires that damage the brand. I’d rate SI a 6. It’s down there with FWS and Hawkeye for me.

I didn't see the show but I was watching Campea's show and he brought up a very interesting point similar to what you talked about when comes to critics reviewing the show. With the other shows critics review the shows that are giving to them whether they are 3 or 4 episodes and then when the show is done, the reaction is different. in the beginning the shows are graded high, but if they had been giving something like she-hulk with all the episodes, would the RT score still be that high for she-hulk?
Secret Invasion was a mess on the macro level. The plotting was off. I feel like lots of people (eg competent undergrads) could have cleaned-up the plot and created a more satisfying storyline while retaining all the [this got setup for future storylines.
I agree Giah has to die. She's too OP and comes out of nowhere. Like how does Marvel not follow up on creating "Super Saiyan Kevin 11 Omega Gi'ah"....? How does Nick not mention"Hey Carol there's a girl with your powers.... And 15 other Super folk's abilities too. My bad."...😅
The writing imo suffered as the series went on. Secret Wars is too huge a story to center around one character and for a 6ep series. 9 would of been better possibly.

MAYBE we'll finally see something about SABER in The Marvels, but who cares at this point? Unpopular opinion - I think Moon Knight was better than this, and I didn’t think Loki was good at all. Loki literally developed a romantic attraction for another version of himself which was weird to say the least. I mean, how is that different than Homelander? But this series was a disjointed uninteresting mess in the same way the entire MCU is a disjointed uninteresting mess right now. Not motivated to see anything they’re putting out at the moment. Thank you for your content though.
Shame how this is pretty much a trend with how some Marvel.sbows start off good to great then either make wrong turns and/or plummet with lame finales. I think Loki was fhe strongest from start to finish. I didn't like the one particular ep when they were on that one planet where things started collapsing. I'm probably gunna have no issue when I finally rewatch the series, ha.m, but my favorite series was wonder despite the lame finale and I didn't like most of the performances, tbh. Absolutely loved Ms. Olsen and Vision dude's performances. Hahn is one of my favorite actresses (and she does SOMETHING to me ever since THAT scene in Step Brothers), and while I liked some of her performance, it was just too campy for me, overall. Wandavision was just hella creative and stylized which left a mark on me along with those 2 main performances. Anyway, SI is my 3rd fave, I think, despite that finale. I had it in that spot before the finale despite its warts, and again, all these shows suffer in some form or fashion. Falcoln and the WSA was my 3rd fave, prior, but we'll see when the dust settles in my mind about SI. Sidebar - Hawkeye, in my mind, somehow grew on me well after watching it. I have to rewatch the show but there was.something charming, I guess, about it when just thinking back on it. I'll cross that viewing bridge again some day, like I will do with the rest of the shows...including She-Hulk 🤣

Secret Invasion was good; most people are just on the bandwagon hatting on Marvel.
I agree with the need for longer episodes n more episodes, but it cost over 200 million to get what we got! Price will just go up 😮😢
I didn't see the show but I was watching Campea's show and he brought up a very interesting point similar to what you talked about when comes to critics reviewing the show. With the other shows critics review the shows that are giving to them whether they are 3 or 4 episodes and then when the show is done, the reaction is different. in the beginning the shows are graded high, but if they had been giving something like she-hulk with all the episodes, would the RT score still be that high for she-hulk?
Marvel just feeding detractors at this point.
The 6 episode format can’t sustain . I agree
I consider an mcu show I do not want to watch again as a fail.
Secret Invasion was a mess on the macro level. The plotting was off.
I feel like lots of people (eg competent undergrads) could have cleaned-up the plot and created a more satisfying storyline while retaining all the [this got setup for future storylines.
The landing was not great. As a series this has to be a seven.
Very entertaing, but could have excelled. So close.
Better than She-Hulk
Everything is better than She Hulk.
@budgiecat2885 😂😂😂
Which skrull got Blipped/Snapped???? That wasn't told.... by default 500,000 skrulls on earth got Blipped but who?
The writing imo suffered as the series went on. Secret Wars is too huge a story to center around one character and for a 6ep series. 9 would of been better possibly.
7/10 is good, I will give it 4.9/10 the last episode was just rubbish
I'm a little tired of these low effort D+ shows. I'm tired of seeing hobo Nick Fury without SHIELD, they didn't even give us anything about Saber. MAYBE we'll finally see something about SABER in The Marvels, but who cares at this point? The problem is Marvel doesn't know how to use the characters they have and they don't give these shows enough time to flesh out a stronger narrative. Tired of 35 minutes episodes when the norm on streaming for just about every other streaming service is 1 hour.
On another note Anthony Mackey cannot carry his own movies….captain America will flop
6.9 for the series
After watching Secret Invasion my new lists is
1-Loki
2-Falcon and Winter Soldier
3-Moon Knight
4-Secret Invasion
5-What If
6-Ms.Marvel
7-HawkEye
8-She Hulk
9-WandaVision
Wanda vision worse than She Hulk is strange
WandaVision being low on your list is crazy cause it was better than Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Hawkeye combined lmao
@@ted544 Look wandavision took to long to get to the point. And what they did in 9 eps they could have don't in 6. WandaVision is going to forever be last on my list.
But what your list ?
@@BrysonRyenn look I like them way more than Wanda Vision
@@JonesStreetTv To each their own but I'm surprised by that lmao. the budget and story of WandaVision (and Loki) is the formula for a successful mcu show
it was awful
7.5????????????
Its a terrible show lets be real! How has mediorcre replaced good or great and people still lap it up! They couldve spent that $215m on a Xmen tv show! each episode a different mutant is focused on good or bad! Also i thought the skrulls were a part of the Fantastic 4s world and yet theres no fantastic 4 in the MCU lol disney is a joke and should sell marvel and lucas film at the same time!
👌🏿🇭🇹🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Nick Furry story lackluster at best.
The Story was absolutely rushed and fell short of a breath of fresh air. I’m gasping here!!!
Losing my interest in these show and movie collaboration crossovers.
4.6/10
or
35% rotten 🍅
The Nick Furry story would probably be better 😂
I stopped listen wjen u say w need someone to step up representing america but not the whole world and if u thought that am sure that is marvel going to do also that cap.amerca movie not going to be good
Unpopular opinion - I think Moon Knight was better than this, and I didn’t think Loki was good at all.
I'll cross that viewing bridge again some day, like I will do with the rest of the shows...including She-Hulk 🤣
ruclips.net/video/wtfoRESVir0/видео.html now i remember what your doing you the henry of the interview for marvel dommage control i am gonna say something but later your the best tho
Rotten tomato are weird too anyways
