Will MacBook work with touch bar unplugged? I don't need to replace as I am not using it, but faulty touch bar sometimes causes random reboots when laptop is not connected to external screen.
I replaced the touch bar and it worked fine, but then I realized that it covered the microphone holes, only Apple would think of placing the microphone there.
Hey! quick question, I performed this repair on a MBP A2289, everything is in place all the ribons are connected but the computer won't pass the apple logo after the chime and it shuts down, no progress bar shown and everything else I have tried like resetting the nvpm or the smc, safe mode, verbose mode nothing has and effect It just shuts down. Any suggestions? Thanks I appreciate.

Not sure if you can just remove it but you can try that and let me know how it goes x
