I've had to, as a Zealot with a bolter, play the role of designated marksman while the 2 veterans on my team were too busy firing at enemies 5 feet in front of them.
as a vet ive been on a lot of 3-4 vet missions and i swear im the only one trying for specials sometimes. the amount of people blowing ammo on trash mobs is crazy. The worst is when im surrounded by trash mobs and can't even take a shot at a sniper because the 3 zealots are already speedrunning the next mission loading screen.
Sooo true. When the vet hiding behind a ogrin shield, doing nothing for minutes, while the rest of the team tries to kill the sniper and the gunners, hopes the rest of the team pushing forward with them so the ogrin can provide cover on the spots where it's needed. No need to say that we got killed losing both our grimoires. While the ogrin finally decided to move leaving the vet behind. Who got killed because the cover was suddenly missing. Don't get me wrong. A sniper does a lot of damage. But it's not like they sniper up ur ass with a fully automatic machine gun. There is a little time between the shots when you can do such crazy stuff like moving to the next cover.
it's the vet's and the psyker's job to take those out...I just wish more of them were aware of that instead of trying to play crowd control all the time, leave that to the og's and zealots.
It's great right now. Sometimes there is a crash. Sometimes there is a glitch and sometimes you just got bad luck. But 90% of the time it's great fun to play.

@@queuebe4068 Classes are ass. Weapons are ass. Balance is ass. Bland non-characters, generic voicelines, underwhelming specials, mid gunplay, Veteran Sharpshooter spam everywhere. More focus on cosmetics than content. No solo play. No crafting. No reason to craft if there was crafting due to there being very few weapons. Can't select what map you want. Suck, suck, suck, suck, suck.
You should try to get footage of a Mutant grabbing you and throwing you while the sniper uses his video game super senses and shoots you while you are in mid air at super speed, they always do that if you are lucky enough to get them both together and targetting you.
I had the mutant grab me and raise me above its head just for the sniper two rooms away to shoot me. While very angry, I had to appreciate the teamwork.
I had that happen too. "Hold up guys my friend is picking up his food order." So we sat for 10 minutes. Game got sick of us standing there and wiped us.
This is so accurate. I feel validated. New ones i've encountered a lot is the off-the-map sniper spawn and the speedrunning zealot(s) that always wipe your party and waste your time because you miss literally all of the crafting mats having to chase after and save them.
It’s heretical to diss speed running zealots. We have Emperor given thirst for heretic blood and it needs satisfied as quickly as possible or we go through neuron activation withdrawals
When I play Zealot, I got my 80% mobility knife, which I use to... Run and grab the materials so my team can better stick together and not have to split off as much Then I run right back to my team and watch their back cuz you can always catch back up. I hate it when people just keep advancing ahead despite it all...
Fast, faster, me. I can Speedrun an loot at the same time. But maybe you can tell me to slow down the next time our last man 5 miles behind us got trapped or eaten by a dog. As like the lvl 4 sniper veterans in malice levels, which lay around 90% of the time ranting about the zealot taking THEIR ammo which the zealot used to defend the poor little vet from the two hordes he pulled onto the the two hordes already storming us 🤣 "Rly?" "Rly!" And I took the next ammo pack although I didn't need it. Because i can and I am faster 😘
If i had a dollar for every time a low teammate ignored my five billion pings on the medicae station, only to die less than 3 minutes later, I could've retired at 5 years old.
For anyone struggling with pox burster/suicide bomby boys... 1) get block ready 2) let them dive into you 3) shove the moment you see them dive 4) IMMEADIATELY BACK DODGE 5).... 6) Profit... unless the game hates your guts/your unga bunga team mate shoots at them near you
You can't imagine how represented I feel with this video. Especially with the people for whom you mark the medical stations and they don't find out anything and continue straight towards death.
I thoroughly enjoy the gameplay and the abundance of glitches and players with double digit IQ make it easy to get a lot of nice footage. Nice video, hope that your channel will get more recognition!
Because my game won't stop crashing, I haven't been able to experience a large amount of the player base, but the 3 matches i was actually able to finish since release, at least 2 of the players on the team were about as smart as a box of rocks. Ogrim players standing on top of fallen teammates refusing to help revive, people asking for ammo just to ignore the ammo box I threw down in a boss fight, even after I said 5 times in chat that I dropped an ammo box for them, and like in the video showing his teammates CONPLETELY ignoring him hanging from the edge as they ALL proceed to die. People would rather get a couple extra kills rather than take a few seconds to help a teammate out. Funny thing is, I don't think it tells you how many kills you get as an individual (for some stupid reason) and only shows you the overall number of team kills at the end. Correct me if I'm wrong there though, again, with all the crashing I may have missed a feature or two

Somehow still the least disastrous SharkFat game launch to date. It'll be neat to see what the game's actually like when it's actually finished in a couple of months. In the meantime, I'll just have fun blaming Tencent.

Great editing & accurately conveys the full Darktide experience. Bugs galore, Snipers chain headshots from outside the map, Room temp IQ players make anything above Malace a migrane, AI plays with starting gear and dies instantly, boomers explosion get you from half a map away, then re-spawn INSIDE a health station or staircase or something
Honestly, I've been able to get passed a lot of bugs and messes, but the MTX store and the absolute liquid-brained teammates are really making playing the game a chore. Although I've found most teammates are just very prone to tunnel vision and a voice from the Emperor (or my mic) typically snaps them out
All this is missing is some impressions of the endgame including: - Sitting for hours at the shop, waiting for it to refresh in hopes of finally getting something that isn't absolute trash - - yeah..
I love the game, super satisfying. The music, voice-acting, and atmosphere is incredible. I even find those scenarios where it all unravels in an instant enjoyable to laugh about after-the-fact. Fuck me, I wish it was more stable. I'll give it a few months of patches before I can recommend it to my friends.
This is why as a psyker I precook my brain burst the second I hear that tick tock tock. Also the flame staff actually staggers them out of it so I can just go full #discoinferno and have a grand time. Truly my favorite class atm.
I think I encountered the penultimate Darktide encounter when at the end of a mission a friend of mine somehow noclipped into the bottom of the shuttle, got stuck, and prevented the mission from ending. However, eventually a mutant spawned and thanks to its nightmarish, space-time tearing rage it was able to charge-noclip through the shuttle, grab him, then throw him into it and finally end the mission. If there's one thing you can count on with mutants it's that they'll charge through rain or snow, heaven or hell, and even rend physics itself asunder in order to get your ass.
Yet for all it's many many many flaws it's still insanely fun. Looking forward to the day they add a mission mutation that replaces every special with toxbursters, or at least a customizable mutation option so I can experience that hell.
When you manage to wade through the glitches, the bugs, and the seemingly unbalanced/untested design choices, it's the inexplicably dense players who adamantly refuse to grab needed health or ammo that make you want to uninstall this game, walk away, and never look back
I had a mutant pick up someone on our team and the mutant ran them into one of the "abyss doors" where they spawned. Literally kidnapped them and took them out of the game. Our ally was trapped there in the dark until they died.
always love games that have opposing bots, because as the difficulty increases your bots remain the same while opposing bots become gods defying all the laws of nature.
played for 160 hours since december 23ed and must say that almost all (not all, ALMOTS all) of these issues have not happened in my playtime. Still very sad to see that they are this present for others.
I play with the attitude that smooth brained team mates are just part of the WH40K universe - it's not fair, it's grim and dark, and there is only war. And stupidity and/or ignorance (which, let's be honest, forms a GREAT DEAL of the threat to the Imperium of Man). Plus the work of chaos (lag/yeeting hounds into space etc, point blank burster, multi bomber fun stacks) So it's all entirely lore accurate.

Every time I see someone play Darktide I'm thinking to myself "Man, this game will be great... in a year."

this game deserves every bit of that mixed review. Sometimes you will have a good time and most of the time you will hate everything about the game

My experience is literally loading in, looking at weapons or missions and sending a crash report and doing that over and over. :)

i laughed at this more than i should. the Dog part happened to me just yesterday and i was bewildered eversince.
Darktide is hearing a pox hound bark for 30 seconds straight and your team still doesnt prepare for it and someone gets killed by it.

reminder: toughness doesn't block all damage like the tutorial specifically states and does in the tutorial if you test it. They are yet to fix this.
