so if we balance just to "in" tolerance instead of zero. in tolerance today can be out of tolerance by tomorrow (or 1000 miles) and my wheel now needs rebalanced. Who are you fooling?
Thank you for the question. All machines have to have a tolerance or the job would never be finished. A Smartweight balancer will never leave more than .3 oz of static imbalance on a wheel where non Smartweight machines can leave twice that.

Hunter made the fixture to show this in simple terms.
I've used Hunter machines. Had good experience. But do require a technician that will treat it with decent care.
