Some of the best people grow up in small towns. I just KNEW there had to be some reason I enjoyed watching you two in your videos. Thanks also for the complimentary shots of Audrey hiking the trails.
I went there 2 years ago and it was freezing cold, but I LOVED La Cumbrecita!!! You were very lucky to grow up there. Saludos de una expat de Texas, en Buenos Aires!
What a nice little place to grow up in, you are very fortunate Audrey. It being a walking only town makes it even better. we saw your local swimming hole and that tree with the exposed roots all meshed together. That gives an example of just what holds these big trees into the raw earth. Aint nature grand. Yeah, I could live there quite easily.

Audrey, did your parents move to Argentina for work or to were they missionaries? My great aunt and uncle lived in Cordoba, Mendoza and Santiago del Estero that I remember and were missionaries. I loved this video.
My parents moved there to run a hotel up in the mountains. It was a beautiful place to live but they decided to leave in 1999 shortly before the economy collapsed in the country.
I'm using your video in a travel agency in Carlos Paz to show what La Cumbrecita is about . So it'd be a pleassure to meet you guys, whenever you come around you have for sure your free tickets to go to La Cumbrecita again :)
Surely given you can't see it and there's no point in a sign for something 25 feet away, the only sensible option is minutes? What else could it possibly be?!
Hermosos tus videos Audrey ,me los devore en una tarde de lluvia , me sorprendió saber que hiciste la escuela primaria en la Cumbrecita , sos cordobesa ???
(from an Argentinian girl, born and raised in Mar del Plata): I stayed in La Cumbrecita with my parents for a few weeks one summer, when I was maybe six years old, and I still remember those weeks as probably the best vacation of my life. We rented a little cabin that had a stream behind it (and I became acquainted with the resident tadpoles while bathing there) and went horseriding with my dad... seriously, it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. Would go back 11/10.
I love that it is a pedestrian town! That sounds wonderful! Beautiful, too! Thanks for showing it to us!
+Jessica Shook Thank you! I agree with you and think it is the best feature by far.
