After having read some comments, I want to explain something about my country. There are many people in Argentina with German ancestry. I myself am an Argentinian descendant of Germans who immigrated to South America. It is commonplace here in Argentina. Maybe there are more Spanish and Italian descendants, but still there are other ethnic groups such as Swiss, Austrian, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, French, Welsh, Swedish, Danish, Hungarian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Arab descendants.
By the way, I loved this video! I need to visit La Cumbrecita ASAP.

    • @sandy-ke1kr

Actually many came way before WW2.

    • @Evy7071

@Jacob Brodnansky That's not true. Many came before WWI, just like my great grandparents. In fact, the biggest wave of German immigrants came before WW2. I suggest you to read and get information before making such mean comments.

Yes, there are many cities with a different background. For example Tres Arroyos has a Dutch heritage, as Trelew has a welsh origin, Pigüe from France, Reconquista from Friuli, jewish colonies in Entre Rios or Santa Fe. This is the origin of the settlement of Argentina as a nation

The majoritu of the people of German heritage in Argentina are Volga Germans that came from Russia. There were three Volga German waves of immigration. The last was after the Volshhevik revolutoon. Most of the Volga Germans supported the Czar. The Volga Germans hese last wave left Russia when the pro Czar forces were defeated. They are also known as white Russians.

The States was a British colony and not only has British population. That is a misconception created by American culture to believe Latin countries are not as diverse as the USA itself.
In Argentina 3.541.600 (8% of the population) are Germans. The fourth biggest community in the Country.
The first one is Italians with 25 million descendants, the second one is Spanish. French are the 3rd ones with 17% of the population, 6 millon inhabitants.
But also many coreans, syrians, Russians and other nationalities are in the mix.
93 % of Argentina's population is European. Way higher than the 76% in the USA or Canada( 73%).

Oh man... the drone and the finger... 🤪
Just get rid of it. I have to say I usually stop to watch any video when I notice drone footage.
    Get well soon, Sam.

Hitler and many of his henchman reputedly fled to Argentina after the fall of Berlin in WW2. I wonder if this has anything to do with the German food etc.?

It's related in the sense that the reason WHY Nazis fled to Argentina, apart from having good relations with the Argentine government at the time, was because there were already sizable german communities in Argentina who had emigrated decades prior.

German immigration to Argentina started in the 1800s.

In crisis, yes...but far from falling apart. The country has an unbelievable wealth beneath its soil. It's just a matter of time for it to recover and start growing again.
