- hi! today we’re making an ink sketch in 20 minutes, i’m using an uni-ball vision waterproof fineline pen :)
btw this is an observation study(!!👈👈☝️) based on sorie kim’s works and if you like this i entirely recommend supporting her as well, taking a look at her works and consider buying her course where she teaches how to sketch animals in this specific style!! 🫶

This is my style 100% Love it! Your line work is excellent - the line weights are clean and effective. This looks like it belongs in a graphic novel - superb work, Julia! You don't have a light sketch below that? I'd need to lay out at least some of the landmarks before pulling out my pen, haha! (I took one of Sorie Kim's classes on Domestika - she's got a lovely style! Where is the animal drawing course?)

but this specific one I only managed to draw this neatly because I had to redo it about three times until I got the final shot :')
Yeah, I’d love to know (if it’s reasonably priced! Some of her courses are pretty expensive!) She often uses the Pentel Ink Brush I’ve used in a couple of my recent videos - in fact it’s her class that got me using one. You should give that a try! Great potential for line width variation for something like your wolf here. Regardless- beautiful work!!
