How to make the best smallmouth bass jig! Making your own jigs for bass is super easy and cost effective. I have been pouring jigs for bass for years and it has saved me a lot of money in tackle and I am more willing to fish baits where the fish are because I am not scared of losing them. The other nice benefit of making your own jigs is you can be very creative and create baits exactly how you want them and suited to your conditions. This jig I have been making has been one of the best smallmouth bass jigs I have ever fished.

Tim has a point, liquified lead will sputter and splatter pretty violently when water hits it. But glad the area was well ventilated and wearing a mask. Very cool process making the jigs 👍👍
