This video explains the part I was missing - how to power the camera only when in reverse gear.
The trick is - the Android Radio from A-Sure provides the 12V reversing signal.
And there is a "power" cable that comes with the Reversing Camera kit.
No need to wire into the reversing lights or anything like that.
Wiring inspired by (but not as good as) ‪@AaronUnknownPerformance‬
The camera I bought (there are several similar - make sure you get the long extension cable):

    The A-Sure radio I bought:

Hi, what size in line fuse did you use?

Hi mate, I see you put an inline in, otherwise it’s literally red to reds and ground the black. So much easier then Iv been seeing and reading… what size inline is that please? Also does it need to have it? Does it have to be glass fuse like you got or can I use a mini blade one

Hi, I think it was a 10A fuse, and it came with the camera kit. I figured since it came with the kit then I should probably use it. :)

Okay thanks, so I used a 10a mini blade fuse. Done your loop just in a different direction, so I’m fairly certain it’s not that… however, where do you go into the back? Iv gone into the thick red power lead on main loom. Iv read somewhere about a pink lead? Mine only seems to be on the aftermarket loom

Hi mate, I have just buyed a Zafira 2011 plate. The sat nav you have in the bit of, where the clock is, what do you put in the search bar to get 1 ?

      I got this A-sure Radio:
      a-sure.com/products/7-android-9-0-gps-navi-car-radio-with-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-for-opel-corsa-astra-antara-vectra-meriva-zafira-vivaro-kmqovb6
      Model :KYQ_OVBJ
      4GB DDR3 ROM
      64GB RAM
      It's OK. Sound is good.
      Some minor negative points:
Cross-talk/interference from the CPU audible when nothing is playing.
The Launcher/default screen is not very configurable
No slot or cable for a SIM card
      Spotify app is buggy
Tidal app is unusable because it's missing some controls
I would consider this one, because the Launcher looks better
      a-sure.com/products/8-silver-android-10-dab-gps-navi-car-radio-with-octa-core-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-for-opel-vauxhall-corsa-astra-antara-vectra-meriva-zafira-vivaro-%e7%9a%84%e5%89%af%e6%9c%ac
Check out idoing - they have an android radio with 6GB ROM. Don't know if it fits the Zafira though.

      In England, it’s just a standard clock, we don’t get a sat-nav

I wonder why not to have the back camera always available, always power up?
Then the driver could choose when to take a look backwards.

Yes that could be an option. But I only have one screen and most of the time it's displaying music! 😁
