In my opinion, The greatest band that's ever lived. Seeing them live several years ago ( my 43rd live show ) and watching fans from 15-75 years old rocking out was truly an amazing expierence.
Agreed💯
Absolutely! 🥂
Some geniuses aren't recognized at their time.
YES!!!
Did you perhaps ever see them during the grace under pressure tour if so how was it
We were all (Clearview Band) in attendance for Rush's "Caress of Steel" album tour at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington on Thursday, October 28th, 1976 for the sum of $6.50. They sounded great in the Paramount, great acoustics, and simply put, it was just a really great show! The memory I have of this concert is the unique way Neil Pert was alternating his hands spinning his sticks. Then at one point, was the way he had held them, making it look like two airplane propellers spinning together facing the audience! He controlled the speed of the rotation of the sticks varying it (synchronized) to match the parts in the song from (fast to slow) and then back again all perfectly (synchronized) while including to play both bass drums!!! What? I was totally amazed but mostly, I'll never forget it! I thought (with a laugh and a smile) there! I just got my $6.50 worth!!!
Thank you so much Neil, that was over the top "Awesome"
That is just one of the reasons we called him.. "The Professor"
Neil Peart (R.I.P.).
Such an epic band!
I was born in 1974, grew up with the music from these guys from the get go and attended every concert they threw (in the Netherlands) since i could walk. Knowing they will never perform live again is... saying it nice... a great loss. Thank you Rush, for everything. And that is a very big understatement.
What a lost to the world.miss you Neil peart.but I still drum.so we carry on.thank you teacher.
Saw Rush on Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures and Signals tours. Then again in 2007 on Snakes and Arrows tour. Always an amazing band to see live.
You saw all the shows I wanted to see. My first Rush show was in 84, Grace under pressure and I was 16. Saw them 9 more times after this
Rush are an awesome Canadian band. May Neil Peart rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️🇨🇦
I hope that they put this out on dvd.best live band.
It already is on DVD, its called R40 Live
Saw this a few weeks ago, and seeing it on a cinema screen in a room of fellow Rush fans was fantastic
Yes yes yes!!!
RUSH ; showing the rest of the bands in the world how it's done right.
Omg again hell yeah I saw this movie in September and my god I was blown away I never been to a show and being upfront at the theater felt so real
Master marketers. Every bit as good as their musical achievements. These guys will be selling products in the year 2080 still.
I think you mean 2112.
RUSH=LEGENDS
I caught this at a cinema in September and it was so good. If missed it on 9/9 definitely check it out now.
*RUSH RULES*
You may carry on...
💜💫✌🏼🎵
" R U S H " the best progresive rock band ever and ever !!!!!!................foreverrrrrrrrrrrr...............
FACTS!!!!!!
October 10th-Happy Birthday to Me!
Best band ! Best musicians
Simply put the Holy Trinity of Rock.
🤘
There are more songs on video from the Exit ... Stage Left Tour? What we know is everything? They are going to tell me that La Villa Strangiato, Jacob's Ladder, YYZ, The Spirit of Radio, among others ... did not register?
Rush oh my God 🦁
Cool !👍❤️
👌👌👌👌
Absolutely amazing band. But from this trailer I am sure I’d be frustrated watching this due to the fact that they seem compelled to change camera angles every half second or so. When there is a guitar solo, show that. When there is a drum solo, show that. This never-ending cycle of audience / wide cut / close up / drummer / singer / audience / drum / bass / wide cut / different wide cut drives me absolutely insane
On demand …. What platform?
im trying to raise my FREQUENCY VIBRATION AWAY FROM MUSIC THAT IS TUNED IN 440 BECAUSE IT IS DUMBING HUMANS DOWN IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW. i grew up listening to rush ,zeppelin, black sabbath, pink floyd, SRV ,Nugent and CAN NOT LISTEN TO THIS DUMBING FREQUENCY CRAP ANYMORE. WE NEED NEW MUSIC WITH 432 TUNING. CASE CLOSED. LET THE TRUTH SET YOU FREE. F THE DARKNESS.
🤣
Well Jimbo,your loss!
@@mongopipes
I can see that you and I are dumbed down, but he’s got the superior intelligence due to his steady diet of 432Hz tuning
@@sean---the-other-one I enjoy whatever frequency I want to man😂
@@mongopipes
Me too. Frequently!
RIP Professor! You may no longer be here to teach us, but your inspiration will never die…
I believe he's teaching other Neal Peart wannabes out there through his mastery of the drums on video and all the recordings they made. Though there will never be another Neil Peart you can be sure that there are plenty of guys out there who are aspired to try to come close to being like him.
Saw this in 2019, but this Director's Cut was amazing. It truly was like seeing them again. I have been so sad, off balance since the retirement, and then when Neil passed away it hurt to breathe. Couldn't listen to them because I would just start to cry. But I got my tickets when this Director's Cut came out, I just couldn't miss it. I just kept praying please don't cry. When it was so amazing it healed that part for me. I can listen to the legacy they left us. It will never be ok they won't walk out in front of me, and we lost Neil., but now I can listen and watch all my DVD'S. Thank you for everything guys. I'm so grateful for all those decades...
Rush forever
Can't wait to see Primus do A Farewell to Kings...only 1 week away
I saw Rush in Vancouver on the R40 Tour, ... incredible!! I have been going to their concerts since 1978 when I was in high school, ... they never disappoint & they will be missed, RIP Neil.
Stop with the limited time idiocy & just release it for purchase & viewing anytime.
The whole show is available as the R40 DVD, has been since late 2015. There are a few behind the scenes things that are missing, but 99% of this was just the R40 DVD.
@1kewlglamma you are right about the audio, the original DVD mix isn't the best
Rush Forever!!!
Someone will use OBS and this will be on all the torrent sites by tomorrow. Make it available on digital not just streaming.
I agree! Need to add it to my collection... here's hoping
Agreed. I didn't get recommended this video until too late, and I don't live remotely close to any of the theaters that were showing it either...
I just wanna see it! Just put it in a special edition blueray set or something and take my money!
You said it, Silence!! I want that for my collection. Your funny, just put it on DVD and take my money!!! 🤣
Saw them September 15, 1982, All the World's a Stage tour. Amazing!!
All the Worlds a stage tour was in 1976.
1982 was the Signals album tour.
@@stratocat I know right.
@@stratocat No, it wasn't! It was All the World's a Stage, at least where we lived.
Maybe Exit... Stage Left?
I think they did a brief tour for Exit Stage Left.
Te amo Rush
No he visto el video pero qué genial.
Best of the best
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
Enjoyed the movie, though disappointed no La Villa Strangiato, my favourite Rush piece, especially considering the title. False advertising! Lol.
I thought the same thing.
RUSH, My all time favorite band. For those here that are die hard Rush fans like me and are into photography. You might enjoy my videos. Have a look. Rock n Roll!!!!
Moving Pictures was the first 'new' album, actually a cassette tape, that I bought with my own earned money when I was 12. First rock concert was Signals tour at Mecca Arena Milwaukee WI about a year later. That can't be 40 years ago, I still feel like a teenager... Right?? Right?!?!
Non mi ricordavo neanche di essere iscritto al canale, e pensavo fosse una YTP su Stranger Things.
Hi it’s Stacie! How awesome is this? Very awesome! Great video!
😎🎸🎶😎🥁🎶😎🎙🎸🎶
are they of the Light or Darkness, his messages of mythology are deep and sometimes Dark? or am i wrong? anyone know? Unsubscribed reasoning.
Yes. Neil was an atheist.
Yuk, I have a friend that is one of them too.
Thank you
Have a blessed day ❤️
God bless all 🙏
So…not streaming yet?
pass me a beer eh
Here! Lol
RUSH!
This is wonderful!!💜💯
Supremely disappointed that the New Orleans area showing of this was cancelled due to Hurricane Ida. My brother and myself were so looking forward to attending the showing.
It's just the R40 DVD with a few added behind the scenes things. If you buy the R40 DVD it's almost the same exact thing.
@@neighborbruce That is completely irrelevant. What was missed was the social interaction and crowd enjoyment. We are all musicians and several of our friends are professionals. This just has, in the recent past, been a way (excuse) to just party.
@@JeffroTa hey man just trying to help
Looking forward to it.
Wow, just in time for xmas! Now i can hear all that sweet music once again!
Also we've now included all the material that previously was unfit for release, so it must be just that good. While we're at it, we will also throw in a mention of a deceased band member to really grab your emotions.
Get your tickets now!
Here i am , take my money ,Rush inc.
The best 3 piece of all TIME! RIP NEIL.
Good
Site is down!
🎸🥁🎶🤘😍💯🔥 🇨🇷
When in theatres? Was here one showtime now gone? Minneapolis area.
Yeah, it was one night only.
Great Rush fan here. But it is a pity that Geddy’s voice had finished around R20 and he insisted on forcing it.
His voice was perfect on the R30 tour. Maybe lower your standards?
Thanks, Guys, for everything.
God Bless Donna Halper
