I think I'll give it a try after the holidays are over. Currently waiting for a TEVO Titan extruder for my Anycubic i3 Mega. My extruder can only push the thicker/grittier filaments. I moved it to the top of the frame thinking that would help.

Nice tip about the speaker, It is indeed really annoying. Good video :)
Funny as I had to flash my firmware twice as it just died first time and I had a nasty feeling I had bricked it but it came back to life on the second flash......Strange !

A manual bed levelling video tutorial would be so perfect at the moment, I'm really struggling :(

Get a set of feeler gauges and use the 0.1mm one for each corner. Do it with the printer heated up to 200C, home the machine and then use the touch screen to move to each corner and use the gauge.

Great job. Really enjoy your videos. You are very good at explaining what you are doing so the viewer can understand what is being done. Again great job.

Might have to adjust the power to the steps. There's a potentiometer somewhere - use a voltmeter and find the equation.

I was thinking of replacing the hotend fan with the same Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX 40mm x 10mm, but the AnyCubic site claims that it should be a 30mm fan. Does the 40 mm fan fit nicely in the print head? And did you have to change any of the wiring for that fan?

Do you have any advice for replacing the printhead electronics? My fans died and didn't know it, and the electronics in the printhead melted.

Ahh that sounds annoying - you may need to get a replacement head from Anycubic? Best write to their customer services.

Hi what do you use to shrink the heat shrink, I noticed it worked very well and would like to get one.

Any Hot Air Gun capable of 80oC and above will make the job!

I'm using this solder station - www.banggood.com/custlink/GmDvD7ZNAB but it has failed a pat test, I also use the proxxon heat gun from Axminster.

One question; why do you need to say "out" after every time you say "swapped"?

@@EducatingSavvas Yep, that might do it! And you know a good way to deal with those loud little buggers they attach to circuit bords; put a bit of sellotape over the hole, it makes them much easier to live with.

Don’t even bother going through the hassle of unsoldering the beeper. I Just stuck a good piece of round sticky tape on the top of it. Problem solved.

I think there's a firmware you can get where the only change is the beeping isn't featured!

@@alexkwong5671 If the fan you are talking about is the one that cools the stepper drivers; this fan does not run all the time but only when the drivers are doing some work.

how easy is it to convert the three pin to two pin for someone who not much electrical knowledge?

    • @EducatingSavvas

Think you just ignore the yellow cable but crimping the ends would require special tools so easier to buy ones with the right terminals.

LOL people are insane about things like that. Maybe its the riveting of the aluminium to the bed? Or its possible you said something in a comment on a video that people were mad about.

Hey guys - wanted just to share some interesting thing.
Do you know that Endurance make a diode laser attachment for any 3D printers and CNC machines.
I would suggest you to check it out in google something like google )Endurance laser attachments)
