The Tamiya Lunchbox takes on the Tamiya Wild Willy 2 in our second head to head chassis battle.
Three stages each with three laps on ad hoc stages. The fastest overall time over the three stages.....wins!

Hey that was great Dom. Makes my want to get my Willy out and give it a good thrashing! Not surprised that the Lunchbox won though as the shorter wheelbase on the Willy makes it a bit more tricky to drive. Good stuff mate 👍👍

You did well to be so close with the WW2, it can be a handful. I have some of those magnetic plastic cones.

I thought this would come out the other way around. The Wild Willy 2 is younger and not so heavy.

Awesome driving! Both are winner putting smile on everyone’s face😊. My lunchbox shell is so thrashed compared to yours because of my reckless driving but it always held a special place in my heart, and driven the most. Hats off to your effort sir! Those are the most entertaining RC videos, please keep them coming.

I kinda figured the Lunch Box, but can’t disrespect Wild Willy at all. That Jeep is crazy toasterand not that far off pace with the rolling toaster! Great , fun content brother! 👊🏼😝🔥🔥🔥

on stock cans the lunchbox was 13 mph to willy’s 11 mph so i’m guessing it’s the LB . interesting you can up the pinion in willy though 🤔 thanks for watching mate 😊👍

Definitely mate....
You can also fit a 16T pinion in the lunchbox.
Hornet pinion fits if you loose the motor mount! 👍 👍 👍

Hi Dom, had to be very disciplined with the throttle on both the Lunchbox & the WildWilly 2. But I would say that although the Lunchbox won, they both came first, with the smiles per metre 😊😊😉😉😎😎best wishes to you and the family😊😊

Tricky game with the throttle on that Wild Willy for sure... I couldn’t imagine that thing with any faster of a motor. It would be like a fish out of water doing backflips 😂. I love it when the lunchbox wins! 💪

Nice shootout! It's always so much fun seeing a Lunchbox bounce around! I have no experience with the Wild Willy, but it always seems so fragile with those spotlights sticking out at the top. Are they prone to breaking off, when rolling?
thankyou 😊👍 they are both great fun , especially WW. i wouldn’t say it’s especially fragile. the lights just fold back. my drivers head fell off though and his arm but not because of any bashing. i do recommend them as they are really different and fun 😊👍
Ah I didn't know that, about the lights folding. I looks like a lot of fun driving the WW2. Might need to get one at some point.👍
Really close results! I could tell the WW2 took a lot more throttle control to keep it from getting out of shape! It was a blast to watch them duke it out!

Do You Know If The Wild Willy Tires Are The Same Size As The Lunch Box??
not sure about the tires actually. they are different wheels though. they are the same as the Mad Bull

I think it's a wheelbase issue they need to make a wild Willy 2 longer wheelbase and still keep the short one.

@rc-dom-uk that's a tuff 1. It's truly just for fun. WR chassis just wheelis. They do better with the wheelie bar flipped upside down. With slight modification. Went from last to 4th with that mod.

Even against Willy the Lunchbox looked really bouncy and uncomfortable. Is it the worst handling Tamiya ever? Great fun but hopeless 😂
