@@ethan.lexell 30 minutes of exercise everyday. Though I haven't heard of it myself, I imagine it's a starting routine to get into the habit of working out. Beyond that, the 30 minutes may develop into longer sessions with better exercises or a gym membership.
I've never heard anyone else bring up "the grip test" basically its your CNS accumulating fatigue. IMO a great indicator of overall recovery. Recently started watching your videos Sam! great content brother!
The same thing happen to me yesterday after noon, i did my bench presses, seated wide grip front pushes and high cables crossovers, when i finish i feel like my shoulder was not well than i felt a little pain exactly like you, over inside the front right delt theres a little bump there (bone & joint) than i did some shrugs and rotations but it didn't go! But this morning i'm happy because it's perfect now (no pain, rotation perfect)...but i need to said that i take pills of Glucosamine & Collagen 4 days in a row because (today was my 4th pill) because i got adductors pain in my right leg (overstretching) because of The Leg Presses Machine. Wished I heard what you said a while ago Sam. ignored my shoulder pain even when it was so mild, and it's stayed and impacted me for 4 months when it could've been resolved in a week if I just rested. Up until a month ago I had to seek physical therapy for it and rest off upper body work. I have bicep tendonitis btw.

1:50 the hand grip dynamometer guage of readiness or checking systemic/CNS fatigue is a real thing: just track daily and it will be fairly predictive of your 1RM or AMRAP numbers in the gym
17:58 only reason to start with flys and pre exhaust is if you have messed up triceps and don't want to hurt them in heavy pressing, whether you have an injury or fatigue. The other way around is generally the best but that's the justification for the other way.

Starter watching at around Day 40. Was immediately upset with the workout style. Blended Mike Mentzer with some squeezing movements. Then I kept watching progress.. week after week. I now believe in your style Sam. My full ROM RPE Pryamid is weak sauce. Need to train harder.
