Till the GATE exam, focus on the gate. Once the exam is over in Feb, from there till you join the college in August, you can easily prepare yourself to the level where you can comfortably attend any of the company's interviews for internships/placement on campus. But yeah, if you have spare time alongside gate preparation, you can start any of the SDE sheets. This way, you'll appreciate the algorithms and have an in-depth understanding.
Courses are elective, and you can choose from a wide range of subjects for knowledge purposes. For placement, your gate knowledge and some additional DSA and/or System Design practice would be a great add-on. Since ADSA and APL are already core courses, you will have enough DSA practice as part of these courses as well. Hope this helps.
Here, experience in deep learning as mentioned in requirements of above company means industry work experience or having own hands on project on that topic ?
MTech in AI means you are bound to work only in this domain. Still, on the other hand, in CSE, you have the choice to explore all the dimensions, whether it is system, theory, or intelligent system, be it AI, ML, blockchain, etc.…so choose wisely; once u go for MTech in AI, there’s no turning back. So, if you're really in love with AI and have enough passion, go ahead. But if it’s all bcs of market hype and all, better put some more thoughts and choose wisely. Hope this helps. Also do consider to discuss with someone else
Sir as a CSE gate student, How much coding we should know ?

sir please make a review video on Mechanical engineering department for mtech program.
Is course work enough or need extra for placements?

Foreign placements in which branches????
There are no such restrictions based on branch.
Here, experience in deep learning as mentioned in requirements of above company means industry work experience or having own hands on project on that topic ?
Both will work just fine.
Is it for MS by Research people as well?
Not as of now, as they have to choose their guide before admission. But if the guide agrees on the same later, then it is possible.

@@SJMIITM Thankyou so much for your guidance sir
You’re welcome :)
What is selection process like interview or on the basis of project?
Most probably interview only, but a project can always have a positive impact, so it's good to have.
