ECE ofc, why? in CS you are on top of the digital abstraction , but in ECE you need to deal with analog part which is much lower in asbstraction Also a computer would only do what you say unlike circuits ( which have unpredictable behaviours) , these things can make ECE more challenging
36:02 if you wanted to know what hardware engineering job is about: after you fabricate the chips and package them, to make an embedded system of like a motherboard, you need to design pcb for that, hardware engineers work there
@@nabeelbinnazeer3721 AI is not magic, you need a lot of data to make an automation pipeline for any electrical engineering tasks , And yes a software engineer with no idea about the analog world can automate this but he would need a lot more data + computing to achieve workable accuracy. But an Electrical egnnier with a good understanding of the physics of analog and digital circuits can do it with less data and compute Also unlike testing software, here the penalty of error is still extremely high, a single chip fabrication initially costs a lot of money, whereas in software you can test it locally before using it in production, here each test costs money so a fully data-driven approach is highly risky. So for making such a hypnotical robot even for designing the AI for such a system an electrical engineer with a basic understanding of AI is much better than a normal "AI engineer" Also, electrical engineering is low in the abstraction hierarchy, like software development mostly sits on top of digital electronics and digital electronics is an abstraction or simplification of analog electronics. The higher up it is in abstraction the easier it is to automate ( 2 reasons more data + less challenging). A computer will only do what do says unlike in circuits. But I am not saying it is immune to automation risks but it is much much lower than of software and it won't happen as soon as in software
