She's hysterical and intelligent. A breath of fresh air.
What she's saying is so reasonable even to the point of obvious on some points. What I really don't understand though is why aren't more educators speaking out against the post-modern garbage that is being rammed down our throats?. kudos Paglia.
Because the ALOT of the educators are marxist post-modernist retards. Esp. in the humanities dep. Universities & Colleges are infested with these kind of pseudo-religious ideologues unfortunately..

What is this shit where all their videos "run out of time" and "we have to end it"?? They can just clip them or make three or five videos of it. Let them go deep and get lost and messy into their own dialogs!! Let them get desperate and resurface as they fight for a way back and acknowledge this point or that... another thing I dislike about the normal podcasters is the phrase "we need to move on..." This is seldom the case, I mean sure, it is necessary when it becomes obvious they have diametrically different DEFINITIONS or OPINIONS on an issue, like Peterson and Harris on the nature of Truth... but in general they can speak and push and pull until they nuance a subject into submission.

For someone who is so animated, Camille draws on today's real issues. I don't know an academic around who hasn't complained about the casualisation of their profession. Not unlike everyone else, they must impress their masters in order to gain meaningful employment. This means kowtowing to prevailing orthodoxies.

Was stoked to hear the last question regarding Peterson. Surprised she hadn't heard of him. Recently finished Glittering Images and looked for Sexual Personae in the used book store. Pleased to learn about her new offering. Absolutely adore her.
And when they did, they got on great! At the end of their 1.5 hour conversation she says offstage "I knew we'd agree on everything!" or words to that effect.
Truly. There is a spectacular interview with the two of them. Peterson comes to UOA to interview her as part of his series. It really is great.

She is a true scholar and someone who actually has the honesty and integrity to think and say the truth, no matter whether it is popular or not. In a world composed of slimy triangulating PC conformists this is tremendously refreshing.
Incredible presentation. I especially liked Camille's response to the rock music/testosterone question. As a musician and composer, I share in many of her sentiments pertaining music today and its peak in the past.

So Camille Paglia has truly had her second act. Well unfortunately for her there are still some of us who remember her absolutely repellent and truly abhorrent pro NAMBLA propaganda , she was a firm believer in their agenda in the mid 1990s. This is interesting information. I will research this. I'm very surprised to hear this and am anxious about. She is clearly a singular public intellectual of high importance and impact for years in multiple areas. And in all the stuff I've listened to or read from the last 10 to 15 years nothing is even slightly alluded to this much less stated. Also, in 2015 she came out as very anti-transitioning of children and stated unequivocally it was child abuse and criminal behavior on adults /provider's parts. Multiple clips on YT. She was very early to be anti social transition, blockers, cross sex hormones or any body surgeries. Feels it should only be 18 or much older. I will research.
