As a chronically late person looking for guidance this is the worst advice I’ve ever heard. “Don’t worry about it and time will slow down for you” cool thanks for nothing
I heard that was like wtf??? Don’t worry about it? That’s exactly why I’m late. The bells don’t go off in my head that I’m going to be late until it’s too late
Same here. I'm ADHD (legit, not like the fad ADHD that goes around) and being on time or keeping up with how long I take to do things has always been a real struggle for me. When I heard what this bitch was saying, I was like "uhhh yeah, I am pretty sure that is actually counterproductive." Why are idiots like this on here purporting to be giving sound advice when in reality they are potentially reinforcing bad habits and ideas that people who are chronically late already have? Like imagine for a second that you wasted your own time and resources to put out information that you have to know deep in your soul is patently false.
I decided to try and experience timelessness like the video suggested. It worked!! I felt it!! Buttttt.... Now I am experiencing homelessness, joblessness, foodlessness and joylessness. 🤷🏼♀️ What'd I do wrong??
@@davidvalentin9493 I was totally joking of course. 😂 You would need to be suffering from brainlessness to try that and actually believe it was going to be a net positive in your life. Haha.

I try to tell people this, too, but they just frown at me when I show up 3 hours late and they ignore the fact that I've completely changed the space-time continuum 🤷♀️ . I am always 3 hours late to social events, 30 mins late to an office job nearly daily (before I was fired ) and to all and any appointments. I guess other people are stuck in the third dimension, unlike people like you and I. Unfortunately, if I want to connect with other humans beings, animals, nature, agriculture... Have my garden function, bills on time, taxis not abandon me, and not go hungry from the shops closing before I get to go food shopping or lose my doctor appointments- I need advice on how to stop trying to break the laws of physics and be a "Normie". Also, breaking my dates heart because he thought I stood him up ...and I really like this man... was the final straw. He too, didn't buy my excuse of bending time and slowing it down... (Neither did the restaurant we were meant to meet at.) 😢 I don't like hurting others around me, letting them down. It seems this woman can't help me fix the problem, though. She obviously doesn't realise that unfortunately, others aren't on board with our time bending. 🙄😑😐. What a dopey person she is.
We just need to cultivate the mass needed to attract other large objects into our orbit in a vacuum. That's a great reason to be late for work. I'm now a planet.
I think this advice may be better for someone with a personality opposite than mine. Lol. I very much dislike getting ready for things in general, and don't like to stress, so I tend to put it off and not rush, and am very good at soaking in the present moment in the meantime, taking 2 or 3x's more time to get ready than what I had. Maybe I've been late so many times that I just associate getting ready for things with stress. So, maybe I need a different solution, but I do appreciate the advice to calm down and not feel panicked.
Ok so that's like saying, "oh I'm already late, so I may as well just take my time and get there relaxed!!"...not so relaxing after you're fired. Next time I should try what she said so I can squeeze in extra sleep before night shift. Try to drive a 20 min journey in less than 10 mins without speeding. Nevermind if I'm 15 mins late.
So uhm... April fools? If I'm already way late slow breathing won't help 😂 Sure, slowing down can help a bit, but this doesn't cure the actual problem of not planning well
It can be helpful to stop for a minute to focus and breathe so I am not crazy frustrated by making more mistakes, but if I would actually take your advice not only would I be late, I would never get to where I'm going. I wish this would work though!
Can you please tell everyone else in the world to start adopting this, too? Cause I find that other people don't buy this excuse when I try to explain why I'm late.
That isn't what Einstein meant. It's not about individual perception but specific measurements that time can be relative in this universe. What dictates that is speed and gravity. I agree with the calming down part. It helps us be in control.
I had to pause because I got frustrated about how absolutely REAL this is. I just got terminated from my job of nearly six years for being four minutes late (on my day off (OT)). However, I have used this technique many times and it worked well. The job I had a very strict attendance policy. But I will say that this is only Part if the solution. It helped with the stress and anxiety and prevented me from making mistakes. I noticed early in life that rushing when your late can lead to mistakes that can make you even more late and feel catastrophic! #quantumphysics. So what I know and believe to be true is that what happened on that particular day was totally meant to happen. I could feel it for weeks that there would be a shift with my job. I felt it strongly but didn’t “see” it coming. I didn’t think I would get fired. But I did. So here I am seeking to learn how to improve my time management. 💯
I thought this was satire at first. As a scientist, this is almost disrespectful to the Theory of Relativity. Special Relativity is not something you can manipulate through feeling(?) or mindfulness. It is quantifiably expressed by a mathematical formula, meaning the numbers and effects are concrete. Differences in relativity are observed on MASSIVE scales. We don’t even start to account for the effects of relativity until speeds reach around 1/10th the speed of light - 6.706e+7 mph. There is no way that you were traveling so fast, or thinking hard enough(???), that you halved time on Earth. This claim is preposterous and nonsensical. In reality, it was either a GPS error, or your husband calmed down and was making level head decisions resulting in an efficient trip. C’mon. We’re all looking for demonstrable ways to be more punctual and you’re telling us to just think hard about time slowing down. Absolutely ridiculous.
I think I get what you’re saying. What I tell myself is “panicking isn’t going to make time go faster, it won’t make me earlier, so then what’s the point”. That’s what I do. It doesn’t “bend time” but it keeps me safe and more calm when I’m driving lol.
I’ve been noticing the more I am aware of time (working in a calendar, scheduling ahead, etc) that time goes by faster. Even if I’m not stressed or rushed! 😆
I love bending time! It's so fun to play with this innate ability! I feel that it really started to 'work better ' the more I have come to re-member that there is more to me than my body and understanding the physics/metaphysics in the most simplest of terms. I love that you shared about your experience of how you use it. 😊
1 reason might be that you are too chaotic and need to slow down in life. Hence plan more time in. Or another prioritise other people and see how you would feel when being with so you is always late.
Coming back to this, what a terrible theory. Einstein won a Nobel Prize and it wasn't for his theory of relativity work. What you have just described is a calming mechanism that is basic coping skills to calm your brain when it is in a fight or flight state. Why did I ever watch this? My goodness.
Sarcasm aside; What happened is that you avoided stressing about being late. Your husband drove while you were able to do makeup in the car, saving doing it at home and being 49 more minutes late. Don't you get that? You obviously weren't late.. you simply were cutting it close but made it and didn't stress about it. That's my version of being on time, fool. The problem is when I'm late!!!!!!! You're describing stress management, not how to plan ahead of time and organise ourself to break our habits. If I was "doing less* I wouldn't have been bloody late in the first place. I obviously need a husband to help me with things, that's essentially the real answer here, mate!!! If he wasn't driving so you could do your makeup, you would have been late!!! DER!!!!!🤦♀️
Honest feedback: your advice wasn’t specific enough. I see a lot of people in the comments dissatisfied with the content because it really didn’t answer the question about how to not be late. I suggest you make another video with more practical tips on how to be timely instead.
Hmm. Or maybe 🤔 If I know it will take me around 40 minutes I will need to plan time accordingly. Leave my home around 45-55 minutes before I have to be there😮😳🤯
I like this concept the only problem is that it doesn't apply to time as time is mostly just perception. It isn't something that actually exists. Your perception of time can slow down or speed up but it can't teleport you 20 miles away so that you're on time if the party's at 2pm and you left at 1:56pm because you were too relaxed and didn't notice it moving. Leave this kind of talk for manifestations and changing belief patterns.
Praise The LORD. 🤔...hmmmmmmmmmmm...............well. I'm not sure if GOD gave us the ability to bend time. (Boy if I could bend time, I could make more $per hour)..anyways...But calming ourselves down and remaining relaxed will help us make better decisions while driving if running late. With a calm mind you can choose better routes and make quicker and sharper dicisions... meh..maybe shave off a a couple minutes or so and get there sooner with a better thinking pattern through calmness.
