- How to clean tile floors and clean white grout lines. My Best bathroom hack!
This is a fast and easy method to clean my tile floors and grout. I cleaned my entire bathroom tile floor in less than 20 minutes, this is definitely my favorite bathroom hack! This method of cleaning tile is the easiest that I have found. I hope it helps you. Bathroom hacks can definitely save you a lot of time.
I used Clorox toilet bowl cleaner to clean my tile floors and it worked amazing!
Supplies Needed:
Clorox toilet bowl cleaner(Walmart)
tile cleaning brush(Lowes)
rag(had already)
gloves (Dollar Tree)

All I can say is THANKS!!! I moved into a house that looked like the grout had NEVER been cleaned. So I never walked in the bathroom without having shoes on. But now…..thanks again!!!! My house is becoming a home!

I tried this method on the grout on my kitchen floor tile and wow was blown away with how clean it got. Previous to finding this method, we had paid a nationally known company about $300 to clean my floor and they did not do half the job of getting the grout clean. They just wanted us to pay another $300 to die the grout (so it would not look so dirty). So glad I found this method and only had to pay about $6 for the Clorox gel and my time. I used an electric scrubber to get into the grout line because it was a large kitchen floor. Thank you for sharing this tip! One of the best cleaning tips ever! I will definitely share this tip!

beware though use a bowl for the brushes . if you set it in the sink even rinsed it can ruin the stainless.... i did it lol

Miss Michelle you have convinced me to use my Clorox clinging bleach gel... Was going to grout renew my entire floor but if the Clorox clinging bleach gel works on my floor the way it worked on yours I will be one happy sister... thank you.
It works really well. I would suggest sealing it when you get done. I didn’t show that in the video but I did seal it later on. TFW! 😉

Yes it must have been popular back then. I’m so over it. Lol but the toilet bowl cleaner does work. I also sealed the grout afterwards. I got the sealer from Lowes. Good luck on your project

Thank you cant wait to try i moved to an apartment and the tile is gross the worse part is its all over and i have a 3 month old and on top of that the prev tendance smoked in the house so i cannot get ride of the smell i hope by doing this the smell will go away also
It worked really well for me. I would recommend sealing the grout when they you get done so it can last a long time. Good luck to you. 😉💕💕
Do not use this method to frequently the harsh chemicals in the cleaner will eat the grout and then you will have to re grout try a natural cleaner like baking soda and peroxide no smell and natural and cheaper than toilet bowl cleaner remember to seal the tile to preserve the cleanliness

I’ve never used it on wall tiles but I don’t see why not. Just make sure to open a window or turn on the exhaust fan.

+etphonegemini I've only used a grout brush but you can give a cleaning brush a try. As long as it can get down into the grooves, you should be fine.
I used Lysol toilet bowl cleaner twice with a big brush in my entire apt.came like new.was my idea
to try. i bought one specially for grout at Home Depot didn't do the job bend and stay on your knees & scrub is too much.
is it harsh on ceremic tiles

Going to try this tomorrow asap, all my house has white tiles white grout its only 5 months old.and its already getting firty i tried the baking soda and peroxide and nothing it didnt even do anything at all wish me luck please need these grouts clean asap

yes I can clean the grout but the guy I clean for wants the lines in the grout White so how can I get those lines White is there a magic marker or do I have to paint it I'm tired of hearing ham say it's not white
tell him to call a tile guy to come and clean and seal the tile....do not put toilet bowl cleaner on the tile or it will ruin it and he will sue you to replace it

Does it take out red stain in the grout ?
+Julee Arriaga Hi Julee, I've never tried it on red stains. Are the red stains from rust? If so, the best thing to use is Comet dust cleanser.

I got so frustrated with the tile grout in my house I was going to replace 600 sq ft of tile i tried all these cleaning videos & not one worked. I even went to home depot and they toldme to use acid or replace and reseal the grout. I had an entire new floor on order $2,000 later & went to get something in the tile aisle, How about $15 for tile grout renew paint which was the same color as my original grout and it acts as a sealer

Brandi Alvis looks like tile grout renew paint is what was used.
This will destroy the grout after so many times putting Clorox on it…. Common sense
