Wtf is going on this guy is making videos for literally every problem I have in my own house. Nice work.
Thanks Bill 👍. I replaced the rollers on Mum’s sliding door the other day and when she asked how I knew what to do, I told her that my friend Bill showed me 😁
Why would someone dislike this...
Lol 👍
A dislike is actually a sign of respect from the haters on RUclips haha
👍 thanks for remembering! We had to have some one come over and fix our sliding glass shower screen. Thankfully it only cost us a few beers and a dinner at our favourite restaurant anyway.
👍👍
Going to give this a go with my sliding door. Simple instructions for a newbie like me. Thanks.
Thanks! Just fixed ours after watching your video ... so easy after a quick trip to Bunnings for the new roller (as one was rusty and not turning).
Thanks Bill just fixed my sliding door after watching your video.
Nice work Bill 👍. My slider wheels need to be replaced as well, so I appreciate the tips. I might give it a try myself instead of hiring a handyman.
I’m sure you can do it👍
Thank you so much.
Thanks! You made that look easy, bro.
You’re a legend bill. Thanks mate
You’re welcome 👍
YAY !!! I have not been able to get anyone to fix my sliding door for about two years... I get told it is easy, but no one wants to do the "EASY" LOL but watching you.. I think I can do THAT!! TY TY!!
You’re very welcome, you will be fine 👍👍
It's easy if the door comes out and the some doors a huge need 2 ppl
Bill, you’re a legend 🙌🏽
Thanks Bill. Your video helped a lot :)
So good another great video , thanks bill for a beautiful idea 👍👍

That's so much for all your video.
💯 Awesome 😎
👍
Thank u so much for this tutorial
You’re welcome 👍
man i wish i could hire you for some projects. you are awesome
Cheers that made it easier than I thought it would be,though had to grind a few mm off the axles as Bunnings ones were a bit too wide for the plastic insert in the door.
I have five sliding doors - 3 of which are a complete pain to open. Looking forward to fixing these...
Legend Billy 👍
❤️ thank you ❤️
Thx mate great cid
👍
Thanks
Thanks man you helped me out.. now I've got to fix my screen door. Need new wheels and carrier
You’re welcome, I’m sure I have a video for that too 👍
Thanks bro
You are kidding me. I have been removing my blinds to paint the window surrounds and couldnt figure out how to release the blind from the bracket. I finally managed to get the screws undone on the brackets to remove the whole assembly. Your vids are so good. I dont even have a glass sliding door but watched anyhow incase i could help someone down the track. And what did i see.. how to easily remove the blind from the bracket. Palm to forehead emoji
Thanks for video.
Can you also make a video for built-in wardrobe sliding door.
Thanks

Clean the track and wd40 the wheels as well
Bill the door has no screws fixing the bottom to the side. The bottom will eventually drop and scrape the bottom frame. You didn't address the track either or adjust the door.
Hey, can you do the same thing with the security sliding door? Mine is currently metal on metal but I’m not sure if you can easily pop out the security door like the glass door.
You can, but there is a nack to it. Both sides of the plastic wheel housing has a barbed part that keeps wheels locked in place you have to press both those in with something pointy while you evenly lift it out
Security doors are Security when they are locked, otherwise they come out easily. Lift up and out
I need some help. On my door when i tighten the screw that holds the roller assembly it pulls it up and the rollers almost don't stick out. Even after setting the adjustment screw all the way to the lowest point of the wheel.
Can you make a video how to replace the metal track, mines totally buggered and gotta replace it
I believe they have inexpensive fittings that go right over the top!
Does this work on Insulite brand
were can i order the parts ? i live in san bernardino california ?
My sliding glass door doesn’t clear the frame so I can’t lift it out 😭 please tell me I don’t have to remove the fixed panel to take out the sliding door
Lol , unfortunately you have to remove the fixed panel and swing the door out the other way. Sorry 👍
@@billshowto eeew this might be a job for a handyman service. Thank Bill 👍🏼
That's a precision brand door. All advice on this fix is specific to that brand of door
All brands have a similar style and process 👍
Jason doors for example, you can't really get the door out, you have to pull the sides of the door off so just glass is exposed before you can slide wheel housing out. I hate precision doors & frames.
Hi Bill, I have tried this but the sliding door cannot be lifted. The cast around the door is very hight (look a bit like the door on you wheels adjustment video).
Would you have any advices on how to do this please??
Some styles require you to remove the fixed glass panel door in order to remove the sliding door 👍

Unfortunatlly my slider doesn't have enough play to lift up and out
I've seen other videos where they start from the outside and remove first the sliding screen (if installed), then the stationary glass "door", and finally the moving door... check around youtube to see if that might be the best way for your door. I'm crossing my fingers this way works for me. Also if you adjust your rollers as high as possible first you might have enough room to wiggle it free.
