Once again a nice tutorial, everything done as described in the tutorial, but as soon as I turn on the RVT in the MI_LandscapeAutoMaterial all textures are blurry and washed out. Is this perhaps due to the Ultra Dynamic Sky I have running?
No you need to setup the RVT resolution to maximum. Keep in mind that RVT are dynamic textures and there are still problems with loading them. Sometimes they get a bit blurry due to mipmaping etc.
any way to save the RVT into streaming virtual textures? Would be useful since nanite is not supported with RVT... So would be nice to create and export the virtual texture to still be used for nanite.
Thanks for the great tutorial, I followed tutorial and it seams everything works for Landscape material, but can you suggest how to enable RVT on the object itself?
Just a quick question is there a way i can add nanite displacement into your landscape material we have base colour and normal just need to add roughness occultation and displacement to convert the material to a nanite displacement auto material
found a fix for that all i did was change the scal height, found the same problem while trying to pin the landscape too i had to type it in instead to find just the landscape. for me it was picking landscape streaming. no idea why again new to unreal engine only been working with it for 2 weeks and still alot to grasp

Mimic the Normal Map integration and plug it into displacement and it should work.
Is there better foliage options in Unreal that doesn't look like rubber flat textures waving in the wind?
Maybe it depend of your foliage asset, i don’t have this trouble
