This is my address, my family and i would love to have you as our guest for a week and show you how blessed we are, neither politics nor any social factor governs our lifestyle, we becomes what we thinks we are and being thankful for everything we have, basic principles of law of attraction.
The more you are grateful the more reasons you will find to be grateful for, the more you complaints the universe will give you more to complaint about. Simple as that.

@Boobiieee Lovy you talking about blue bay? sorry, ive lost track of 2020 lmao
Don't listen to whatever people are saying, the beaches are all well cleaned after the oil spill episode of mid 2020,i live in the south east of mauritius where the affected beaches especially blue bay ,are situated, and i can only say one thing ,beautiful and the pandemic has given the beaches their holiday they rightly deserve .
I'm guessing you still haven't been to mauritius. Keep it that way, thanks
I'm from Haiti and I could understand you guys speak the same language
@@gavinmunian9579 I'm from Haiti but I'm from Syrian ancestry

Haitian and Mauritian Creole have similarities and differences. We met a Haitian when I was in school in Mauritius and I was so excited that another country speak our Creole but when I spoke with a Haitian on another occasion over the internet.. We started arguing that the other was speaking Creole wrong ( we were kids at the time and didn't know any better).
Last time I was in Miami with my family, the taxi driver was smiling when we were saying "how much should we tip?" in creole and turns out he was from Haiti and could understand most of the Mauritian Creole that we spoke.
In the end, it's cool that the two Creoles can sound similar with some variances. I didn't know creole on Reunion Island was different until I heard them speak it too.
We speak creole

What a fascinating country with a vibrant culture, stunning landscape and beautiful people! Thanks for the glimpse into Mauritius!
I loved learning about these islands in the Indian Ocean. It reminded me of the histories of the Caribbean.
Absolutely superb island 🏝 of Mauritius 🇲🇺. My strong goal next year 2021 sailing by sailboat ⛵ to Mauritius island . I am living in Kauai island now in the middle pacific ocean . My motherland. Love Mauritius
I can't believe what has happened to Mauritius. The first time l visited Mauritius nearly 30 years ago it was beautiful so natural paradise. Today it has become a concrete jungle people tell me government is to blame. What a shame
We should have left the people in their tiny storm prone shacks maybe?
Oh I'm sorry, are we the people in developing countries obligated to stay in huts and caves to satisfy the viewing pleasures of those in developed countries as if we are just tourist attractions?
@@warren5037 that's not what they're saying I don't think, of course normal buildings are good, but Mauritius is a paradise, I wish more of the country was open to the locals, like most of the beaches now 'belong' to these huge companies and hotels that have 'bought' them. This island should be respectful of its natural beauty and not damage the environment. This country is unique and special, as every place is, so the natural environment should be protected, and also available to the average person that lives there, not just the tourists
Everyhere is the same ,look at the cities London , new York , Japan etc etc they are building big sky scraper or shall I say concrete jungle
Urban renewal does not end well
I can’t believe how much history this Island has. Wow!!

Climbing the mountain terrains is so much hard exhaustive but it is

it should be illegal to whip horses during horse racing or whilst training them.. this world is disgusting and people would do anything for money even if it means inflicting pain in another innocent being like these poor horses, they feel pain too, physically and emotionally.

Feel good to hear when visitors bring nice comment s about my country.... Many mauritians left for Europe and more continents but i want to add that i just love my country soo much that i hardly can think to visit or stay to other countries lol but i will do travel.💖
Same here , went to Mauritius in 2019 and it was amazing
I worked there for 3 years, many years ago. Wish they'd said more about the admirably diverse economy and gone more into the (very hierarchical, very gossipy, very conservative) society, it's an interesting place in many ways. I did end up feeling kind of trapped - so much sugar cane, so many people squeezed into the rest of the space. I miss it though, wouldn't mind going back for a few months.
Geoff L you’re so right
Strongly believe that it is where you worked or lived at that time. Also, the people around you. Happy to say that I live in a village where everyone mind their own business and no one is as you said "conservative". Cheers
Stupid comment. Maybe during your stay you've been living in a cave.. sorry about that.
what,s stopping you Geoffrey
Darrielle Laviolette that’s the same thing as being conservative right?

Shut up!
Shut up!
Enrico Montali No you fuck you.
Fuck off Trinidad full of cock sucker and crimes.
That's because loads of these Islands like Fiji, Mauritius, Seychelles, Reunion, Haiti and Trinidad have similar roots including Indian ancestry and similar looking Islands
That’s not deep fried cake. That’s paruppu vadai. Also called as masala vadai. A tamil delicacy.
Yes you are right.
But its not identical to the tamil vadai since the ingredients are not of the same taste and quality. The outcome is different.
Plenty of Mauritians are of Tamil descent so your comment checks out. Btw we incorporated some Tamil words in our Mauritian creole, the most popular being the word "aiyo".

I grew up close to champ de mars... Hearing the horns from the horse racing was part of my childhood.
Was this country originally black African country ? I only see indians.
@@MARK-nh4hx it's a long history but I will try to summarize it. Originally colonized by Europeans who brought African slaves to the Island. Chinese and Indians later came to the island for work which is why it's a melting pot of cultures.
Yes you are right, nowadays, majority on the island are Indians and creole(descendant of the Africans that were brought to Mauritius) and other races like Chinese and Europeans amongst others are the minority.
@@MARK-nh4hx i’ll explain it, so basically slaves from parts of India and Africa were brought here, and Chinese traders also came. There is a population of Franco Mauritians as well.
@@MARK-nh4hx 66% are indian. Add in the bias by the reporter who is a UK indian..
