I agree that Gentiles should not HAVE to convert to Messianic Judaism but I definitely think it should be an option if they genuinely WANT to.
And if you are Jewish by descent. It is scientific, genectic, and reject the Church you attended, but not Jesus, Yeshuha, then you are most definately a messianic jew.

He came as a Jew and died a Jew. He was not a god-man during his lifetime and his apostles and followers were all practicing Jews who believed him to be a man, a leader king of Jewish prophecy. Daniel and the rest of the OT have nothing to say about a sacrificial god-man because this is not a Jewish concept. God does not become a man, nor does a man become a god.

There is a difference between the Christian version of saved (a belief in the death of the man-god Jesus for the sins of mankind) and salvation coming from God himself ( not Jesus). Christians don't seem to realize the differences between the two religions and ridiculously cling to Judaism as if it has something to do with them, trying to put a Christian spin on it by mistranslation, misinterpretation and cherry picking of verses that (don't) "support" their beliefs.
The gentile believers that I know love YISRA'EL and the Jewish people. What I am finding so frustrating are some Messianic believers who have a disdain for Christians who do not keep Sabbath as if they really do and that almost everything about Jesus is pagan and that we are really not "born again" until we spell Yeshua their way? What is that all about?? Are they going back to Moses or ahead to MESSIAH YESHUA??

I do not think that he intended to lie. Contend for the faith with those who are and profess to be believers; share the faith with those who don't, but don't proselytize them.

The concept of Messiah is taught in the Tanach, and clearly teaches all the following must be fullfilled for any person to be seen as Messiah.
1. Messiah will reign as King of Israel and gather all Jews from exile back to Israel. Jews will flood to Israel. Duet 30:3, Isaiah 11:11~12, Jeremiah 30:3, 32: 37, Ezekial 11:17, 36:24.
....however Jesus was not King and Jews didn't flock to Israel.
2. The Holy Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt. Isaiah 2:2~3, 56:6~7, 60:7, 66:20, Ezekiel 37:26~27, Malachi 3:4, Zechariah 14: 20~21.
.....the Temple was still not yet rebuilt.
3. World wide peace and an end to all wars. Universal disarming of weapons. Micah 4:1~4, Hoseah 2:20, Isaiah 2:1~4, 60:18.
...obviously war exists still, and many wars are fought in the name of Jesus.
4. Messiah reigns as King and all Jews will follow commandments of the Torah. Ezekiel 37:24, Deuteronomy 30:8~10, Jeremiah 31:32, Ezekiel 11:19~20, 36: 26~27
...all Jews are not embracing Torah and certainly not following the commandents.
5. Messiah will rule Israel and the whole world will put down all other religions and the world will reconize and serve the One true Lord of Israel. Zechariah 3:9, 8:23, 14:9~16, Isaiah 45:23, 66:23, Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 38:23, Psalms 86:9, Zephaniah 3:9
...obviously this hasn't happened.
6. Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a direct descendant of King David and King Solomon.
Genesis 49:10, 2 Samuel 7:12~14,
1 Chronicles 22:9~10, Numbers 1:1~18.
...Genealogy is only passed from father to son in Tanach. The Christian Bible says he didn't have a father from the Tribe of Judah
7, Ezekiel 46:1-4, the true Moshiach to come will offer HaShem burnt sacrifices of six lambs on the Sabbath and new moons in the 3Rd temple.. where does that leave your jesus?

Read the comments, see how many people believe the bible has been corrupted BY CHRISTIANS since the early days. Nonsense, christians fear God and don't want to change his word, textual criticism on the other hand despises fundamentalist christian beliefs and have been trying to teach that the early writings were corrupted by christians too zealous of their faith. Mischaracterizing the average christian and turning them into sectarians. Well, i think messianic Judaism is sectarian, instead of following God's word they rely on following rabbis and other wordly knowledge to understand the bible.
This proves to me two things, messianic Jews that defend this idea have no fear of bearing false testimony, and they don't believe that God can preserve his pure uncorrupted word for ever.

Not necessarily. I gather that you believe that Yesha'yahu 53 is about Israel as the Suffering Servant. But what of 53:6? Is not one person punished for the sins of kal Yisra'el? And what of Vayikra 17:11? So, I contend that the sacrificial death of Jesus is not pagan or gentile in thought or nature.

2) The original Hebrew Tanakh records the verses as “Do homage in purity (nash-ku bar) lest He be angry and you perish”. The meaning of the Hebrew word “bar” is pure or clear. Yes, in Aramaic, the word “bar” does mean son, but it is used only as a combination of two words - SON OF. If in Aramaic, the author wanted to mean just the son, he would have used the phrase “ber’a with the letter alef at the end. (Psalm 2:11-12).

But if you read the whole context of this verse, you will find that it is in reference to abstaining from eating the blood of a sacrifice, and nothing more. God commanded the abstaining from eating or drinking blood because most other pagan religions ate the blood of their sacrifices as a way to incorporate their gods into their bodies and into their lives.

Not true! We love Israel (Jew/Gentile) b/c we found Messiah who came as a Jew. Whoever is doing all 2share the gospel of Messiah is doing what He commanded. Yeshua is no myth. He came at appointed time stated by Daniel Chap 9 & fulfilled Isaiah 53 to make atonement for sin of the world. He is not a man who became God but rather God who became a man. It was will of HaShem that He pay the price. Gen 1:26 says: Let US make man in OUR image. How do rabbis explain US & OUR? Yeshua is LAMB of God!

Jesus was born and died a Jew and supported the Jewish bible, an edited version of which christians call the old testament. He didn't even preach to Gentiles and stated that he had been sent "only to the lost sheep of Israel". There is no such thing as a "saved person" in Judaism and the belief in the sacrificial death being of a saving nature is pagan.
2)It is a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The rest of the offering will belong to the priest, as in the case of the grain offering. [Leviticus 5:11-13]
A sin offering HAD to be done on an alter by priests who then later ate the remainder of the sacrifice whether grain or animals.
If a gentile Christian wants to be educated in Jewishness/messianic they shouldn't need to convert anything.

It was the early church that spoke according to the traditions of men. That's why virtually every big thing about Jesus is nearly cut and paste from pagan myths.

This writings took place 700BC. There is only one man that has predicted all of this, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Below are two links. True Jesus was a Jew whose teachings were to Jews, who himself stated that he was "sent only to the lost sheep of Israel". You must understand the concept of a messiah according to Jewish belief since it differs considerably from that of Christians. The Jewish messiah is to be totally human, a leader like Solomon and David - both messiahs. He is to come from the line of David, through Solomon. Jesus had no claim to the kingdom of David.
2) Christian belief is that of a man-god messiah, a sacrificial demi-god and this is not based on Judaism. In fact the distance in time between the human Jesus and the reinvented man-god Jesus is some two generations, Nicole. Deuteronomy tells you that every person must atone for his own sins - Nobody else can atone for them and certainly no demi-god is mentioned in the OT.

Dear Pastor, what you say is a mix. Almost all Christians have a share in the World to Come, as do Muslims, Bahai, Druze, etc, Jews should certainly become more Jewish. (So should Christians.) But it is an error to gloss over the biblical vision that through the seed of Abraham, all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Jews will be the world's teachers. No where in Judaism is there any notion than messiah s a God. The American Thomas Jefferson highly applauded Jesus teachings, calling them sublime. But as to the miracles, Jefferson's view was fuhget about it. All we know is, Messiah is the son of David. The thing about being son of God? Well Moses told Pharaoh, God says Israel is my son, even my firsrborn.
The idea that a "saved person" must simply believe in Jesus sacrificial death is pagan. Jews believe that every person must atone for his own sins and nobody else can do it for them. in Deuteronomy 24:16, God simply states this as a basic principle, "Every man shall be put to death for his own sins."
One cannot be a practicing Jew and a Christian at the same time. If you believe in the divinity of Jesus, you are a Christian and therefore, no matter what your origin - are no longer a Jew.

What you have, Carol, is the end product of a telephone game related orally for at least two generations before being put to paper and the story grew with each retelling. A man dead for three days does not rise again or he didn't die at all. The martyrdom of the apostles is carried by tradition only. After his break with the apostles at Antioch, Paul's version - the Christianity of today with its man-god - was gradually born and reached its full completion in Rome.

quite frankly ive done my studies and my research and Yeshua is a Jew and He is not what most Jews and Christians say He is. theres a schism between Jews and Gentile Christians about Jesus abolishing the Law of Moshe when Yeshua clearly stated that He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill them. plus, nowhere does it state in the Prophets that the Law would end. Yeshua(Jesus) is a Jew of the line of David HaMelech of the tribe of Yehuda. He walked in Torah( He obeyed the dietary laws, kept the Saturday Shabbat, kept the moral, spiritual, civil, and ceremonial laws, and observed the Feasts). everything stated in the Gospels is eyewitness account of the things that happened concerning Yeshua and yes it is stated in the prophets that Messiah would die for the sins of the people. read Yeshayahu(Isaiah) 53. Yeshua died to make atonement for people's sins because without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin. that was the point of the sacrifices in the Law of Moshe- for remission of sins provided they were brought with an attitude if repentance and faith. Yeshua is the Pesach Lamb. everything concerning the Pesach seder happened prophetically to Yeshua. quite frankly I think the Jewish people need to stop mudslinging at Christians because i don't think ADONAI would approve of that since He stated in Torah " and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. and you Christians need to stop painting the wrong picture of Jesus and actually do your research on Judaism. Reasons Jesus isn't Messiah
The concept of Messiah is taught in the Tanach, and clearly teaches all the following must be fullfilled for any person to be seen as Messiah.
1. Messiah will reign as King of Israel and gather all Jews from exile back to Israel. Jews will flood to Israel. Duet 30:3, Isaiah 11:11~12, Jeremiah 30:3, 32: 37, Ezekial 11:17, 36:24.
....however Jesus was not King and Jews didn't flock to Israel.
2. The Holy Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt. Isaiah 2:2~3, 56:6~7, 60:7, 66:20, Ezekiel 37:26~27, Malachi 3:4, Zechariah 14: 20~21.
.....the Temple was still not yet rebuilt.
3. World wide peace and an end to all wars. Universal disarming of weapons. Micah 4:1~4, Hoseah 2:20, Isaiah 2:1~4, 60:18.
...obviously war exists still, and many wars are fought in the name of Jesus.
4. Messiah reigns as King and all Jews will follow commandments of the Torah. Ezekiel 37:24, Deuteronomy 30:8~10, Jeremiah 31:32, Ezekiel 11:19~20, 36: 26~27
...all Jews are not embracing Torah and certainly not following the commandents.
5. Messiah will rule Israel and the whole world will put down all other religions and the world will reconize and serve the One true Lord of Israel. Zechariah 3:9, 8:23, 14:9~16, Isaiah 45:23, 66:23, Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 38:23, Psalms 86:9, Zephaniah 3:9
...obviously this hasn't happened.
6. Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a direct descendant of King David and King Solomon.
